Somewhere some Christian is blaming the Jews for this instead of having self awareness.

I’m aware of one United Methodist Church... that voted to allow gay Ministers.

And therein lies the problem. Members voting on what they want rather than following the design set in place by God. The downfall didn't begin with women pastors/preachers, it began when men decided they preferred to worship God in a manner that suited their desires rather than striving to adhere to the very scripturally clear manner in which God declared worship to be rendered.

go pray to a statue of Mary bro no one cares what you have to say.

We honor and do not worship. We ask for her prayers as you ask for prayers from you family. Except, the difference is she is the Mother of God and the most perfect example of what a fully human should be and act like.

I would highly disagree. This is the angle they use to get division and create the slippery slope. This is 100% the angle liberal women are using to try and change within the Southern Ba[tist Convention.

Why is there a Southern Baptist Convention? Did God not lay forth His plans for the church and how worship was to be rendered in the inspired writing of the New Testament? And, if it is a meeting to clarify doctrine in order to stay true to what God demands, why are women even present to begin with? Does that not already depart from scriptural authority?

This is what I mean by men deciding they want to worship in the manner that they choose, rather than abiding by and honoring what God has commanded. (That's the slippery slope. The fact that women pastors have become a part of it only compounds the original issue of departing from God's design and instituting changes to suit our own desires.)

The United Methodist Church I belonged to was not allowed to vote re: disaffiliation. The pastor made that call, and did so despite a substantial number of members presenting a petition to vote. So if a third of the churches voted to disaffiliate, wonder what percentage of the remaining two thirds was even allowed to vote? And yes, there was a mass migration following this manipulation.

These churches have become obsessed with LGBT shite. Almost every church in my city displayes multiple gay pride flags... One isn't enough. They have to have multiple gigantic flags.

This is the truth. The unitarian church closest to my house always has 2 tranny flags AND woke shite scrolling on their LED sign. The only exception was when Biden "won" the 2020 election they put American flags up for a couple of months.

How do you conceptualize her reaction to these prayers to her? Millions of Roman Catholics praying to her and then she repeating these prayers to God. How does someone other than God hear and respond to all these prayers? Does it not diminish God by thinking he is too busy or inattentive to receive prayers directly from his people?

I left United, joined global.

Weirdly enough, I think most religious people understand giving Satan a foothold is a bad idea… but go along with it. Damndest thing I’ve ever seen.

It looks like they voted with their feet and wallets.

If the projection is correct, the UMC will collect less than it did during the aftermath of the recession in 2009, according to the report.

Will God provide?

Not even UMC leadership thinks so.

One member of the financial council, John Pearce, said he planned to work with an investment group to help church agencies get better returns on their investments. A total of $860 million in agency investments earned about 6.6% in the stock market last year, he said. They could do better, he said, according to United Methodist News. Leaders were also looking for ways to save money through technology and alternative funding sources, according to the news service.

Bishop David Graves expressed hope that The United Methodist Church can move beyond relying mainly on the offering plate for support and rebuild for a faithful future.

They are running ads on the UMC site, so no links.
