I get what ur saying and I don't expect to see that from Trump's administration. Investigating legitimate illegal activity isn't necessarily a vendetta. But, considering all the frickery the Dems have thrown at many folks in Trump's campaign, its will be impossible to avoid that accusation.

I sincerely pray that Gaetz can carry this out without being bogged down in personal vendetta stuff. The 'crime' committed against him dwells in comparison to the accumulated crimes committed against the American people in the past 30 years.
To make him the point of the spear in our attack on the army seeking universal/everlasting power is not a comforting tactic. We need to dismantle this universal outrage piece by piece, and completely destroy its basic elements in the process - not the emphasis on a personal "wrong".

The investigations need to be above reproach, fully transparent with out leaking and smears. No American being investigated deserves less. There should be no public speculation like you did by assuming it was only about a personal vendetta. Follow the evidence.
Sometimes doing the lawful right thing gives you personal as well as professional satisfaction.
