What are you sure about Jesus?

Do you believe he was a Jew?

What the heck are you on about? We know Jesus was a Jew and Middle Eastern. And we know he believed God "knew you before you were born". Being pro-abortion and pro-corrupting the definition of marriage directly against following Jesus' teachings. Jimmy Carter was not the best Christian, although there are many accounts that he was a nice guy.

It has come out since that Regan delayed it till after the election so he could ensure the win. This was the lead in to the Iran Contra scandal.

FACTS- Carter was an abysmal failure starting with the worst inflation rate at almost 10% (yeah worse than Biden), double digit mortgage interest rates, horrible foreign policy, the Crisis of Confidence on energy/oil which led to the gas shortages, and couldn't negotiate the release of American hostages in Iran(hostages were held for 444 days). On Reagan's first day in office the hostages were released!!!

This isn't the gotcha you think it is. Laughing at your lashing out and clutching your panties at a difference of opinion.
Take a seat, chump.

Is this the same Jimmy Carter who claimed Venezuelan elections were the most honest and true elections in the world?

Correct. And you’re the one in here talking up Jimmy Carter’s presidency. I think I’m pretty safe in not being the one repeating the errors of the past.

I've been a Christian my entire life and live in one of the most Catholic cities in America. I've never met 1 person who has said Jesus was a white guy with blonde hair.

Prolly none of them. It's the main reason we are declining as a nation. But I would say Eisenhower and Reagan were greater examples of holding up Christian values than Carter.

We could bring back that term that was coined between 1976 and 1980: Misery Index

As partisan as the media was back then at least they would do something like this. There is no way in hell the media would have a Misery Index now with a Dem in the Whitehouse.

I simply said if they really want to do a Carter as president remembrance... they should raise interest rates to 14%-17% for an entire day. That way everyone could really remember what it was like... at least for a day.

I agree but they started with Nixon in the first place. The first wave was 1973, long before Carter was even elected. You seem blind to the actual history I actually lived through.

From Wik 1970's Oil Shocks

The major industrial centers of the world were forced to contend with escalating issues related to petroleum supply. Western countries relied on the resources of countries in the Middle East and other parts of the world. The crisis led to stagnant economic growth in many countries as oil prices surged.

To be fair, oil has been a hot button issue in Africa and the Middle East since Winston Churchill saw the advantage of an oil navy (no oil in England) over a coal navy (500+ years of coal in England). The UK and US then went hand in hand to ignore one of the oldest Empires in global history to recognize some nomads to get the oil concessions.

While not fully accurate at least watch "Lawrence of Arabia" for some dramatized "Cliff Notes".

I was going to suggest the Iran hostage saga, and the failed attempt at rescuing them in the desert.

Dems & military operations in the M.E. Not a great plan.
