Well that makes a ton of sense

These idiots have managed to put me and Powerman on the same side of an issue.
So that's an accomplishment

You do realize that you're also describing Israel right?
Except that I'm not. There are approximately 1.7 million Muslims willingly living, working and engaging in their religion in Israel, they can leave at any time. There are over 10x mosques in Israel than there are synagogues in a country like Iran.
The tolerance level of others between Israel and a government run by radical Muslims are vastly different. Comparing Israel's tolerance level to that of Nazi Germany or a country run by radical Islamists is ignorant, at best.

If Muslims were anywhere near as problematic as Nazi Germany and there are 2 billion of them the world would be a much different place than it is now.
You seem to have missed my differentiation between Muslims and radical Islam. I'm talking about the latter, not the former.

Yeah, lots of odd alliances in this thread. But it happens when you rationally look at each issue and don’t live by the party line.

Blue is a better color than teal.
That's a fact!

WOW
un-fricking-believable how naive you people are
quote:"We had this horrific, unprecedented attack that killed thousands of Americans in America but, it was a couple of decades ago so, we definitely can let our guard down"
When is the last time there was an attack of any significance? 911 was 24 years ago.
"That sort of thing every couple of decades is completely acceptable so that we don't appear to be bullies or spend a bunch of money"
You can't be reasoned with on this topic

Why do we have to intervene? Why can’t Israel handle business?

"intervene" is a doing a lot of work there, baw.
there are lots of ways to intervene short of getting involved in a middle-eastern war.

Are you dumb or something? I’ve said all along red is the best color and if you can’t see that, you’re being naive.

The move from "the anti war party" to full blown neocon took a week.
Pretty impressive!

You're getting your war man. You can relax now, it's coming. The President of the United States agrees with you. As does Israel the MIC and every politician in Washington who's bankrolled by both.
I yield to you.
I yield to you.

To think that is something that can be accomplished is extremely naive. All you’ll do going over there is create more. We had a 20 year war on terror and an act that craps all over your privacy, and they are still around.

And if the Ayatollah buys enough Trumpcoin they could be back to anti-war party by next week.

This doesn't make sense. Most of our losses from Iranian proxies and terrorism occurred years, decades ago. For Israel it's a different story - but we're not Israel.
That's not to say we haven't been targeted by Iranian-backed terror interests, but the impacts have been pretty minimal. Our most recent major engagement came from us settling those decades-old scores.
