Yikes. That looks like the criminal enforcement side of the IRS is growing. That isn’t really revenue producing. If the goal was revenue they would be going after more auditors. Not sure what’s scarier. More auditors means small business owners are toast. More enforcement agents mean more prosecution by the irs. Wonder who they will target??

It’s a law enforcement position.
They will not meet their goal. Every law enforcement agency cannot meet their current goals. No chance the IRS can out-hire all the others.
They’ll have to hire college kids who no longer qualify for internships that no one else will hire.

Didn't make sense why the IRS was buying up as much ammunition as it could get it's hand on until now.
