I said this back March. Regime change has never worked. Now it’s broken and there is no good way to fix it. Trump should fire whoever talked him into this.

Be prepared for the Trump groupies to come after you. They can’t intelligently fathom someone who has voted for Trump before being capable of nuanced thinking.

Yes, being upset because Trump doesn't want to escalate a military conflict is a very nuanced position.
Most of the people who act upset when Trump doesn't commit further were also against the attack from the beginning. There's nothing nuanced about that. It's just another day of people looking for a reason to complain because it is Trump.

I think Trump thinks all people can be negotiated with for a better outcome for all. This just isn't so in some societies.
His weakness may lie in thinking everyone thinks like him.
Right now it's like he 'speaks bigly and carries a soft stick'.
I love the man and God bless him, but all cultures are NOT alike and don't value the same things.
