So you’re just pretending the words “government worker” and “child molesting” simply do not exist in the OP despite the fact it’s as clear as day??

This is exactly why so many maga get credibly accused of being in a cult.

Just totally insane omissions for no reason.

Her post was probably about potentially suspending Habeas Corpus.

In that scenario, the child molester, citizen or not, could hypothetically be put on a plane and sent to a 3rd world country (or any number of terrible things). There’s nothing stopping it from happening other than blind trust in the government to do the right thing

No. A person could be indefinitely detained, but not deported, if habeas is suspended.

Read a post this weekend from a daughter of a friend. It was about a government worker who was arrested for molesting a kid. Her post read,"So we are going to deport him now, right, or is that just for law-abiding citizens?" The ignorance of that statement is hard to fathom. I texted her mom and told her that she may need to educate her family that CITIZENS don't get deported. They go to jail. And in this case, hopefully get put under it. There are no law-abiding people getting deported. They are all here ILLEGALLY. Which by definition means they broke a law. This world is really screwed if these people really ever lead us long term.

Great post. Something we should all be doing. You didn't call her out publicly but pointed out the facts to your friend.

In one act, you outperformed most of the 'virtue signalling' on TikTok.

That’s a reeeaally generous assumption given how fast and loose we’ve seen this administration operating around immigration rules. It’s a question that hopefully never truly gets tested.

But fine, let’s say you’re right. Indefinite detainment for US citizens that can’t be challenged, we cool w that or nah?

You know who’s been incredibly quiet in 2025? The we the people/shall not be infringed crowd. Tyranny is SO back!

Two things happen when a ‘Free’ population becomes so ignorant and /or misguided that the society becomes dysfunctional. One is that the ‘Ruling Elites’ implement Authoritarian government, and the other is that the society collapses and the weak die off per Darwinian principle. Our current dilemma and struggle is based on WHICH Ideology (DEI/Socialism vs Capitalism/Meritocracy) assumes formal Authoritarian government control.

I don't think anything has been "fast and loose" - it is more that people are prone to hysteria, which results in believing "innocent citizens" are being deported.

Well, you are talking about something that has not happened, so it is difficult to discuss given that the parameters of any suspension would be important. Personally, I am not cool with a suspension of habeas, but the more limited the suspension, the better.

Personally, at this point, I am more concerned with a judiciary with no accountability vs. an Executive branch that has to face the voters.

let them continue.

When the opportunity to simultaneously break them completely psychologically thereby removing them from the equation is more likely the more dumb they force themselves (yes, they do it to themselves) to be.

Maybe, fingers crossed, they work themselves into such a state of dumbassery they put themselves in camps. We just gotta lock the gate.

Am I to speculate you don't know the difference between speedy and indefinite?

There are definitely people being deported who have not been convicted of a crime.

if you are being deported, it means you are an ILLEGAL immigrant. Let me help you. Illegal definition: not allowed by law; unlawful or illicit.

as I said, the ignorance is spreading quickly.
