Agree....but this first step was needed as it take the direct funding to Dem NGOs and the Dem machine out of action.....makes the fight to go deeper in cuts easier.....

$6B in actual cuts is worth $6.6B next year.
There doesn’t need to be $1T in cuts for there to be meaningful changes in the deficit.

Why the frick is our Republican Congress so screwed up? All we heard before the election was how transparent everything was going to be. No shady shite. But NO we can't even get a rescissions resolution to the floor without some kind of BS being added to it. Unbelievable.

They have said for the last 6 months that the ONLY thing they were focused on was the Big Beautiful Bill - After they get that passed then they were immediately getting onto the DOGE cuts and all of his EO's and so far, they are on the schedule that they have been promising for the past 6 months
