Jesus, is that how you really view the world? Those kids go to a school where 17 of their classmates and teachers were slaughtered by a mentally ill man using an assault rifle. All of us should be looking for ways to keep guns out of the hands of mentally ill people.

If these kids want to be activists, learn about your own government. Learn how to have a constructive debate. You don't get policy changes by screaming down your opponent. You don't get policy changes by executive order. None of these kids have any clue about selective incorporation or how to amend the Constitution, yet we're supposed to just accept their requests for policy changes because they're victims?

The War on Terror was an emotional response to 9/11. It's been a disaster and we're still fighting it with no end in sight. The Patriot Act was an emotional response to 9/11 and its resulted in a massive loss of privacy and civil liberties. Not letting your emotions deprive all citizens of their constitutional rights isn't cold, it's logical and consistent with our governmental framework.

They aren't doing the hard work of trying to discredit a bunch of recently traumatized teenagers, like yourself.
