In this “Fact Check” video from the Climate Discussion Nexus, Dr. John Robson expands on our Sea Level Check series to rebut claims of dangerous, accelerating, man-made sea level rise by examining the actual history and current state of melting land ice, changes in the land and other complex factors that contribute to this non-crisis.

“And then we told them the coasts would be flooded from climate change.”

How do the global climate alarmist, concerned with sea rise, explain sea fossils being discovered in Utah?

Great vid, thanks.

And he mentioned Plymouth Rock as an example of misleading evidence.. said they’ve moved it several times.

I was at the site of Herods palace at the edge of the sea in Ceserea, Israel. It’s still on the edge of the sea. All that’s left is a few mosaic floors but they are still dry.

Pretty sure this is called “uplift”, but I may have fell asleep in class that day.

Barry and Michelle are not sweating seal level rises. Heck, Michelle spent most of last month on Steven Spielberg's $250 million mega yacht touring the Mediterranean. Why worry about the seas rising when you can float above it all on a mega yacht as a freeloading guest?

We have been hearing of doomsday predictions for decades, and they have yet to amount to anything. To me these predictions have lost all credibility.

In Florida it’s really not a partisan issue. Republicans rank SLR as their biggest concern.

Not to mention Martha’s Vineyard is 300 ft above sea level where the highest point in the Florida Keys is 7 feet. I’d feel much more comfortable owning property in one location over the other.

They are predicting the sea level here will rise a foot an hour for the next 5-6hrs.
How incredibly scary!

I mean what if that sea level rise continued for 100hrs?
We'd be nearly 100ft underwater! Just think about that!

... fortunately though, they say around about noon, the process will reverse, and sea level will lower at about a foot an hour for six hrs. I sure hope they're right.

BUT ... then sea level is supposed to rise again after that. It's nerve-wracking.

Well ...

... some points of Martha’s Vineyard are 300 ft above sea level. The Obama's location isn't one of them.

Newsflash - the planet is billions of yrs old. Continents move and sea elevations rise and fall. That's how planet Earth works.

Mt Everest used to be on the bottom of a shallow sea. The highest mountain in the world has fossils of tiny warm water creatures at its top. No one would be daft enough to believe there was ever THAT MUCH water on Earth and think life could evolve and then settle THERE...

Collectively humans are very dim.
