For example, one of the reasons I voted Trump is definitely in the top 3 on the Right - ending mass illegal immigration and deporting hoards of illegals. I can argue all day that that is absolutely a priority that supports the well-being of American citizens.

I can't disagree with that point and on that note he has done a great job. It seems to be a relatively new thing for Republicans. During the Bush era the border was a problem that wasn't taken seriously.

There has never been an extremely liberal president elected

FDR and BHO say hello.
Edit to say; I actually take offense to what you said. You said extremely liberal president. Our first half a dozen and more were extremely liberal and helped create the most liberal legal document ever penned.

No, what you meant to say was extremely progressive president and of that, we do have FDR and BHO. Because let us be quite frank, there is nothing at all "liberal" about Democrats. They just successfully rebranded themselves in the early 20th century and most of the dummies went aling with it.

You guys put an extremely right-wing reality TV star in office

So we are now down to calling a life long Democrat whose first run at Presidency was with Jesse Ventura and the Reform Party is now somehow "far right"?
Sounds like someone is far, but cannot admit which way he is.

you now consider Bush and Romney to be sell out soft liberals.

Well, they are neo-cons and as such share a good bit with the Dems.

But go ahead. Tell how moderate the recent offerings from the Dems were.

NPR liberals that think they are smarter than the rest of us

I know one of these. He's the kind of guy who steeples his hands while talking to you as he looks down his nose at you. Any disagreement is met with how intelligent he is and how ignorant you, or any so-called patriotic Americans, are. He confuses his condescending sarcasm as intelligence and insults as rapier wit.

the right has a version of this too.

colorblind rhetoric. "we just need less regulation". not concerned with mass legal immigration. balanced budget.

The very vibrant and very vocal minority.

Not the minority that you portray.

Sadly, the core group that supports indoctrinating children is far greater than you suggest.

A majority, no.

A sizable minority…
