Ive almost lost my mind trying to keep up.
For an entire year they said trump was going to start a war with russia. Ever since he won it's now trump is buddies with Russia.
shite I remember the debate right after Louisianas primary Kasich said he'd send US troops to Ukraine and not a single thing was mentioned or that be the media the following day.

Winning strategy...three prime players: Let Iran nuke up...Saudi Arabia too....and light a match. China gets ME oil after picking up pieces.. Putin sells Russian oil to Europe. US has our own. All three sell on strained World Market. Islam gone. China happy. Russia economically solid.

Russia is a natural ally of ours. We should help them be welcomed into the global community and work to isolate the Muslim regions.

I honestly don't even know how this would play out. There is literally nothing worth going to all out war over other than some apocalyptic shortage of resources. Neither putin nor trump gain anything in any scenario, mutual destruction is literally assured.
Can we pinky promise not to use nukes and have a conventional war? After slaughtering each other for a while let's see how long the one on the losing end plays by the rules
All defensive measures against intercontinental ballistic missiles are a % game, plenty will get through. Subs are impossible to track effectively. Not to mention satellites are gone immediately, so is the power grid, and likely movement of good and mass production of crops. Even if you arent affected by blast or fallout there will be a violent thinning of the herd among each nations own population fighting for resources.
The only possible scenario I can even imagine one side making a move directly on the other is if they believe they have a game changer technologically the other has no answer for.

Nobody wants war with Russia. We just don't want that Russian dick-sucking Trump and his Russian-loving buddies to kowtow to them, and give the Russians carte blanche to do Putin's bullying will. If Trump stands up to Russia over Russia's land-grab in Ukraine or Putin's eventual attempted hegemony over the Baltic countries (which is coming, make no mistake about it), a lot of people will be very surprised. After Putin did so much to help get Trump elected, Trump owes him big-time. So what really worries a lot of people is what is Trump going to give away to pay his debt to Putin?

OK, I think I know where the OP is coming from. The idea is that the world conflict is now between the Nationalists and the Globalists.
Putin is a nationalist. Maybe the head honcho of all nationalists. UK and France leaving the EU would be nationalist
The US under Obama (and Hillary) is globalist along with Angela Merkel.
But Trump has taken over the globalist US and is moving it to nationalism making him superior to Putin on the nationalist hierarchy. So, if the globalists can make a war between the US and Russia it will destroy the nationalist movement and the globalists will take over.
