I keep hearing this. On what is this claim based?
I know Ford's "team" tried to delay by dragging their asses in conforming to requests, but what actual statement by the FBI could lead to people saying the above?

Like everything else that has emerged from the lefties with regard to Kavanaugh it's just total BS.
They'll cry about the FBI not interviewing Ford, but why was that necessary. She had already given 3+ hours of sworn testimony - NONE of which could be independently verified, except for some parts about the lie detector test. The rest of it was absolute BS.

I think it's based on a misrepresentation of Wray's testimony before the Senate Homeland security committee the other day.
ETA: I think it was that lying POS Kamala Harris that brought it up in that committee, which isn't supposed to cover those things. She seems to be the sack of shite they use when they need a misleading narrative crafted in committee.

Talking point. Likely a semantics play on the timeline that dems supported (until they got it). Trump clearly stated; no restrictions.

It's total and complete BS. We've been over it many many times. The FBI has no jurisdiction, even at POTUS request, to investigate non crimes, non Fed crimes, a statutorily limited crime, to more than do a background check investigation in civil matters. Ford has yet to request a police investigation which would be a local jurisdiction anyway.

It amuses me because literally NO ONE on the left can even articulate what a "full investigation" of an event that happened at an unknown place, during an unknown time occurs.
I can see it now.
FBI - "Hello classmate #1. Are you aware of or were you at a party that included Kav and Ford.....that happened in one of TWO DIFFERENT summers?"
I mean, let's say the answer to that question is "yes". WTF would that even tell you?

I think the left wanted the FBI to go full special prosecutor on Kav and use the false rape allegations to basically do what Mueller is doing.

I haven't seen evidence with an FBI representative with a title say this. Now there might have been someone saying a "source" close to the someone but you know I feel about sources without names.

if you watch the Ford/Kav hearing day, Grasserly explained (at least twice) that all the FBI would do is interview people and create 302s and it wouldn't be an "investigation". they created the talking point of "an investigation" so that when it wasn't enough (b/c they knew Grasserly was correct), they'd have a talking point to de-legitimize things
the FBI was never, ever, ever going to do a full blown investigation or go down the wormhole of infinite subjects that the DEMs are portraying. this is all just a coordinated message used as a backup plan because they lost. nothing more

6 previous fbi investigations, 4 witness statements that deny any knowledge of accusers accusations, Hundreds of letter from classmates, friends, professional colleagues, bosses, and former employees as character witnesses, and accuser who changed her story multiple times and has no details or evidence, etc...
There is literally not one single thing that corroborates Ford's testimony and hundreds of things that contest it.

This. I have had FBI backgrounds done on me and have also read others. They are in simplest terms, a bunch of interviews typed up and stapled together. THEY DO NOT DRAW ANY CONCLUSIONS.

Because the FBI limited its scope of accusers. It didnt chase down the leads of every screeching moon bat.
They also failed to interview witnesses with triple hearsay, which is the standard Dems would apply to any "credible" investigation.
