The idea was to try and remove him from the ballot by any means possible.
The Colorado “insurrection” ballot stunt appears to have failed miserably.
The NY cases are civil, not criminal.
Having a felony conviction could be used to argue about eligibility, even though legal beagles are saying that only Congress gets to determine eligibility for federal elections.
Having this arrow out of their quiver for the election minimizes the effectiveness of it given that its major impact would be PR related going into Election Day.
It could still be used to harass him afterwards but it isn’t nearly as useful if he is either a private citizen or has the resources of the government to throw behind his case.
When you sit back and think about everything thrown at Trump the last 7ish years, considering it's been the power of the federal government and now states, it's pretty amazing none of it has succeeded. Millions of tax dollars have been wasted on illegal and immoral attempts to "get Trump". Personally, I don't think it's because Trump is so "good", but that (however you define your God) is leading the way.
I understand that Trump isn't there yet, but...... seems likely nothing they attempt will stop him.

Rs and Ds won’t change much unless the rabid Ds come out with glee to say they protected democracy from a convicted criminal or whatever bullshite runs through their heads.
The latest poll I saw had 20% (!!!) less Republicans voting for him if he was convicted, or "less likely to".
That is catastrophic.
You have to hope that all of this BS never makes it to trial pre-Nov

Who says that the Dems get that vote if so?
RFK Jr being on the ballot means we could see some fricky results unless someone Sirhan Sirhans him.

Anyone else think it's positively delicious to see all this geolocation data busted out to expose these frauds, while the left has induced laryngitis as they screech incoherently trying to convince us that the geolocation data is good when it's used to convict J6ers but no good when IDing ballot mules cheating in an election?

If she lied to court, she should be disbarred.

Convict? No
Identify? Yes

And now you're mis-stating the argument
Impressive work

This does not mean diddly squat!

LOL. As if "facts" had anything whatsoever to do with this case.

I mean, Fanni was already removed by the appointment of the SP. Did that kill the prosecution?
It’s a little harder to argue that when she’s fricking the SP.

I think they pay RFK to go away.
If he doesn’t he better check under his car before starting it.
I’m not sure exactly what you mean by who says Ds get those votes.
Rs that won’t vote trump if he’s convicted?

Like he doesn’t do that already.
Dead dad and a dead uncle means he has to figure they will go after him if he is a threat.

I mean that if Trump loses votes from the R and I side, they aren’t necessarily going to vote for Joe fricking Biden.
I could see people voting RFK because “frick it, not as bad as either of those two.” And if he start picking up EVs, the election probably gets thrown to the House.

Good point.
He’s way past a Kennedy life expectancy on average.

He is a smart guy, probably has a DEI hire start the vehicle for him

That’s what I thought you meant. I agree and can see that.
I could never vote for Kennedy but some may indeed say frick it this round.
I’m hoping he hurts Biden more than Trump though.
The Dems never seem to break ranks though.
