Are you suggesting that illegal aliens, ipso facto criminals, are somehow having their rights violated by being shown the door?
Posted on 3/18/25 at 8:48 am to SlowFlowPro
You probably should take a break this morning. You can regale us with your brilliance after the JFK files come out later today.

Too late.
The political optics issue Democrats are gonna have here is, when 100% of everything Trump does is challenged by judges and 100% of those judges are liberal Democrats, reasonable people are gonna start to doubt whether or not this is about the letter of the law.
Especially when these same judges sat on their hands as Biden did wild shite like the vax mandate or waiving student loan debt.

This was an Obama appointee correct? Show me where he stopped a single one of Obama’s deportations and I’ll start to listen. Did Biden deport anyone? Probably not. But if so, did this guy stand in his way?

it is as plain as day in the article I posted today-ACLU and Democracy Forward-demanded Trump turn his planes around-- and now prove he didn't disobey them by NOON today.
the judges orders were 'Democracy Forwards'/ACLU's demands.

Dont waste your time. he will try to "intellectualize" you to death by pointing out any and all minor differences in cases from one administration to the next, then keep that up for 87 pages until you eventually have to go back to earning a living or caring for a family.

The issue is that none of Obama deportions where challenged by an NGO funded by our tax payer dollars. Such a great scheme the Dems played. Thank God Elon exposed this grift!

Judge Boasberg did not act in a vacuum.
True, he acted in his daughters financial interest, which is how he has been compromised.

I'm saying it's theoretically possible that they are having their rights violated and evaluating that claim makes no evaluation of the underlying nature of the purported criminal.
They can be the literal worst people in the world and that's irrelevant to a discussion over if their rights were violated or if the statutory authority used to impact their lives was wielded properly and legally.

statutory authority
So, you concede that the Executive branch is the proper authority and the judicial has no standing.

No
Use the whole quote

They're using a very aggressive interpretation of the Alien Enemies Act and various statutes declaring them "terrorists". That's a central part of the dispute.

by defending pieces of shite? This is more in line with their historic values than the reversal post-Charlotesville
They defended the 1st Amendment rights of literal Nazis in Skokie

By defending people who aren't Americans and therefore have no right to American civil liberties.

This irrationality is like the people who melt when the Supreme Court makes a ruling that the rights of a terrible person who clearly committed terrible crimes were violated.
When courts are discussing the limits of governmental power, the underlying case/merits often include bad people. That's why the merits are irrelevant to the legal discussion unfolding (despite this being impossible for certain people to separate due to emotions and partisan-based programming
Not sure what you are specifically melting about. But the post you are responding to stated that there is a group of radical leftwing lawyers assembled to immediately challenge every action Trump takes in order to interfere/overthrow his administration by bogging them down with useless lawfare.
Are you pretending this does not exist?
Because they have already admitted, no bragged, that is what they are doing. Thousands of lawyers funded by hundreds of millions of dollars from radical billionaires.

What rights are being violated of criminals here illegally being deported? What am I missing? Outside of you using your 3rd rate law school education to try to talk over people and not make any sense yourself.

es, as a rule liberals are anti American.
These people are not liberal but are "progressives" or leftists. They don't see themselves as "Americans" due the racist and bigoted connotations connected to it.
They view themselves as citizens of the world.
