The Dems made the switch too soon, should have waited longer to replace Biden

The longer Harris is the candidate, the more she is exposed as the fraud that she is. Hence the reason she is losing ground in the polls.

If the Dems would have waited to replace the candidate elected by its voters (Biden) at the last minute, Kamala would have had a better chance to win.

Thoughts?

Needed to do it before convention but wouldn’t have mattered.

They expected to be running against an assassinated Donald Trump.

Could they not have replaced Biden after the convention by claiming "illness" or "voluntary withdrawal" from the race?

Legally they already did switch as late as possible. I believe the exact last day for most states to accept it on their ballots.

Which is why is always was a sham

I’m sure that would be their preference.

After his first debate they knew. Biden will be remembered for being a shitty prez and for “nominating” Harris! Both equally as bad.

Nah. They could have chosen wisely and not worried about it, but they didn't. They figured they muscled Biden in, so they could do it with Harris. She even tried the Biden no-interviews, one-rigged-debate bit.

In all honesty I think they were in a tough spot. I wonder if we start to see more factions become resigned to the reality of a loss (although I'm not confident yet myself).

They knew Biden was a weak candidate. They knew Kamala was similarly weak. Watching the "organic" upswell of support bolstered by wall to wall media praise and reintroduction, likely intentionally skewed polling, etc. was impressive TBH. The way the left and the institutions captured by it operate in lockstep is pretty fascinating.

Honestly I think they did more than we could have expected given her innate lack of accomplishment, intellect and personality. She doesn't connect with anyone and has never accomplished anything of note. She wasn't even a high achiever academically. But they couldn't not give it to the "woman of color already on the ticket" so their hands were tied.

The braintrust and MSM types already know this.

That's why they went with Kamala. They're just trying to salvage as much downballot with all that money that they can. Biden would kill everything DEM-related.

Agreed.

I guessed your argument was going to be: Three months was too much time for Kamala to fake being competent in public.

And it's true.

They actually waited too late. Had they done it in January they would’ve had time to get a better candidate and not have Kamala forced on them on short notice in a panic move.

I do look back at what several pundits said which was the first party to replace their 80 year old candidate will win. The Democrats made the move.

They usually have a plan for everything they do, if they replaced him early it was on purpose to expose her and get her out of the way before the election. Let’s just see what happens next

Perhaps he’ll get enough to beat the cheat. Perhaps he’ll get enough to make the cheat so ridiculously obvious that this nation will come to a point of having to address the issue or risk being torn apart.

We'll agree to disagree. It's going to give all appearances of getting worse before it gets better, but there's daylight on the other side of it all.

You're welcome to find out when everyone else does. Enjoy your ulcer.

I’m not even mad. No possible way the three letter agencies let Trump and Elon tear them apart. You can believe that’ll happen…but they are most powerful organizations on the planet.
