***It was a fricking shite show baw. Also, how would the stock market work with no power or internet? We going back to pen and paper?

If you think a physical dollar bill will mean much without power you are wrong.

Guns, Ammo, cans of beans.....

But since I dont live in fantasy land, crypto is here to stay. Dont worry baw, you still early. Train is big enough!

Crypto is a negative sum game due to power consumption.

A very few market makers will reap massive gains but the those who don't understand how price and volume is manipulated will be gutted. Most of the volume is collusion.

Colluding market makers are free to engage in riskless trades between each other at massive volume inflating prices with each trade. The speed at which prices rise should make that fact obvious.

The amounts that hapless victims can sell is constrained by limits. The bitcoin market is actually quite thin and shallow. The speed at which prices can fall should make that fact obvious.

Small window to grab as much crypto as possible, to convert gains to physical.

Every nation that has tried to ban it has watched usage persist or even go up. It’s probably the most difficult thing in the world to try and ban. I personally don’t think it’s possible without some fairly extreme and costly measures.

I think it’s far more likely the USA will eventually buy Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset and enter into a war with the other powers to procure as much as they can because it’s eventually going to be one of our primary stores of values

A buddy of mine is now against crypto for "environmental reasons". Something about all the power used to perform the mining operations. Get the frick out.

Such overblown BS. City people are so absurdly dramatic. It was like camping for a week my God

I agree with Dallas except for the collapsing dollar theory. It's extremely useful for foreigners and foreign governments who need to extract dollars.

The people fighting against crypto couldn’t sound more like a broken record if they tried.

I wish they’d just say “I’m afraid of freedom and I’m afraid of change and I think crypto should be banned”

The actual environmental impact of Bitcoin mining is drastically overstated

Who are the people fighting crypto?

The environmental crowd and the global elites pushing climate change hysteria are on the same team and hate freedom. That shouldn't surprise you.

Good luck getting gold, ammo, or even a lot of cash through many airports.

bitcoin has its place in every ditch bag and a worldwide ATM network at your disposal

who are all of the people fighting against crypto or who are some examples?

Janet Yellen is an example. The NPCs on Twitter and in real life propagating the “criminals use Bitcoin” or “Bitcoin is bad for the environment” or “Bitcoin is a purely speculative asset with no use case” are broken records and it’s gotten exhausting to engage with that rhetoric

chinas approach is interesting.
as i see it,
its a ponzi scheme. nothing more.
it has a spirit of pirates and us against the machine.

china is calling it investing.

i love how so many are creating their own ponzi structures.

less trouble than level marketing.
you need a cool name.

Ya those are all unfortunately institutional elites and they "have" to say that so they can keep playing the game. I am as laissez faire/anti government as they get but unfortunately we're not in charge of our institutions. This is such an interesting market because it's a direct attack on our most powerful global institutions. Quite the chess match.

Ironic. They are one of those countries who has a central bank that never get a dollar swap line with the Fed. I think that's the end game with crypto unfortunately. Fed/Treasury will just weaponize the dollar moving forward.

Frankly I think government shouldn’t have a monopoly on fiat currency.

I think just how a few hundred years ago people thought it was perfectly fine to have church and state intertwined and we look back and think “wow, that was obviously a bad idea”; that’s how people will look back on government being intertwined with currency backed by nothing.

They have handled this power irresponsibly and it has gotten worse and worse since Nixon took us off the gold standard and a nonsovereign trustless system is frankly just what the world needs. I think it would force responsible fiscal and monetary policy and force nations to realize they cannot pay for their debts with inflation in perpetuity.

if we bet on this ive got global elites 1, anarcho-ponzi billionaires 0.

the problem for authorities is when popping the bubble bankrupts millions. so it looks like the global elite will strike immediately.

I’ve been saying since Bitcoin became a thing that the Global Banking Cabal will eventually deal with all crypto currencies.

ross perot showed that we can grasp the issue.

the great biden recovery will allow us to pay down the debt.

who complained about biden congress not increasing defense-war budget?
republicans. fox.
the biden approach is to reduce expense by inflation.
and its useful for planning.
