The flip side of that coin: does anyone think if BLM had breached the Capitol the treasured artworks within the building would still be intact? As far property destruction goes, these rioters were rather tame.
Curators scour Capitol for damage to the building or its art....
Detailed damage assessments from the Architect of the Capitol or the U.S. Capitol Police have yet to be released. But the singular works of art that curators consider the treasures of the building did not appear to have suffered any major damage.

Shot? They were beating policemen in the head with rocks, pulling down statues and painting the streets with graffiti in DC this Summer. I don't recall anyone shooting any of them.
