Will McCarthy cave and spout some horrible negotiated deals to sooth the conservatives

or

Will he do what he said?

Will the ones that made him agree to their terms stand against him if he caves?

NPR already reporting it will be “really bad” when it happens by Summer.

SUMMER??? Really? It’s freakin’ January and the liberals are hand wringing already. Looming recession. Bad unemployment. So bad. “C’mon bro, we gotta raise the debt ceiling”

Guess what, this has happened time and again. Doom and gloom. Apocalypse talk. And yet here we are in 2023, still alive.

Why must they turn every freaking thing into a crisis.

What was negotiated in the past when we reached the limit. I don’t remember.

A small game to fatten pockets will be played, but it will for sure get raised.

Same Republicans that never met a spending bill they didn’t like will whine and cry anout the debt ceiling, look like idiots and then go along and pass raising it.

I’m so sick of this shite.

Because at some point, there comes a tipping point where the US government will be insolvent. Either you're on the side of delusion or reality. Those who are realist know that the merry-go-round can come to a screeching halt and come off its axle and crash if this madness is not reeled in quickly

Preach!
I wanted them to stop raising it and cap spending 30 years ago. But..

That. That is when they'll stop raising it.

Please tell me the last issue the Republicans fought for and won?

When was the last time they acted like a group of men and women who cared about the people they claim to represent?

They will do nothing but make dumb speeches, accept the Democrat proposals, and then enjoy their payoffs.

Tucker Carlson will have a few shows about how it was wrong and then they all smile and get quiet and wait on the next “crisis”.
