Are you saying the issue here is they just count the ballots weird?
No. They are much more restrictive on who can run. Europe loves regulation.

I see.
So they have more strict regulations is also what you’re saying.

Yes. How else could they remove candidates (or threaten to do so like in Germany)? These aren't new laws and I imagine they predate "globalism" (although since that word has no meaning, you can make it mean anything so I should be careful).

The situation has taken on an international dimension, with US intelligence sources indicating that former US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and his assistant, James O’Brien, are under investigation for potential connections to this political fiasco. Allegedly, they, alongside former Romanian Foreign Minister Lumini?a Odobescu, lobbied to influence Romanian authorities to annul the elections. This raises questions about the extent of foreign involvement in Romania’s domestic affairs.
Seems an interesting topic, why hijack it Comrade?

Anonymous sources that can't even describe the body investigating or what it is investigating. Riveting reporting

You're off by a factor of 1000

I thought a Romanian court just over-ruled the election court and put him back on the ballot.
That court apparently had no jurisdiction to do so. That is what grok tells me

we [already] had this discussion and many people just want to get dopamine hits from being emotional about it.
This obsession with repeating things over and over again will never make sense to me outside of that paradigm
Bravo sir -- love your takes. The "dopamine" jab had me chuckling.
However, your misdirections and red herring aside (nice irrelevant NATO spending chart) aren't really the OP gist of the subject matter at hand. Do you really not see it?
Brief recap:
There's been a coup in Romania.
Georgescu, who WON THE ROMANIAN ELECTION , was summarily arrested and his victory invalidated because of bogus claims of "Russian misinformation."
This followed in the wake of Georgescu being very critical of the establishment political parties and the planned NATO base, vowing to cut it.
Concidence?
The "paradigm" you claim "obsession" over in this forum happens to be over the very troubling obvious trend of the Globalists co-opting and manipulating the process of FREE and HONEST ELECTIONS and deposing nationalist candidates. We are "obsessing" over seeing the same thing happen In Europe, N. America and Australia in favor of their pro-globalist candidates & agenda.

Sorry your candidate lost

His viewpoint is whatever leftist orthodoxy dictates. He’s arrogant enough to believe he can weave together intellectual filibustering, contrarianism, attrition posting, superiority arguments, insults, and logical fallacies to “win” any debate.
Except the ONLY person who thinks he’s a winner is him (and possibly his mother who obviously spoiled tf out of him). To the rest of us, he’s a fat miserable loser who lives his entire life on a message board.

Romania's GDP is $350 billion. 2.4 % of that is $8.5 million.
I think you forgot to carry the one or something chief.

No one is building a military base to accommodate 50,000 personnel for that paltry sum.
This base has been around for decades. I was there in 2012 and there was probably housing for nearly 10k even then. it was an atop over point for troops leaving the middle east to rest and wash their equipment before heading back to the US.

Do you think Romania has any money to build massive base by themselves?
Romania used to have major oil reserves. I'm not sure where they stand today after 100 years of all-out production.

I have no doubt we’re pitching in because we want the base. I’d assume the larger NATO nations are as well.
I don’t see anything wrong with that though

NED is one of the more nefarious NGOs in the world, responsible for a lot of conflict and election manipulation.
