I have lost 10 current and former coworkers to covid. So yeah, I take it seriously too!
As for climate change it really is a political war game at this point. Even if you assume the narritive is correct for argument sake the political solutions can never succeed unless you have a one world unified govt that is more authoritarian than any communist society we have ever seen...

Remember the commercial with the Indian chief crying about folks throwing their trash into a mountain stream? Now hardly anyone talks about pollution now , now it's all about climate change.

If events continue on the same trajectory and diesel fuel becomes so expensive that trucking companies can no longer stay in business grocery stores will run out of food in week's time. 20 million hungry ,angry people will be uncontrollable and Soros lives about a mile from Bill and hillary. My best guess is that this will cause a huge reset and that anyone who mentions doing something about 'climate change' will be run out of the country on a rail.
