The border wall was a massive success under Trump

I was listening to a former border sector chief on Theo Vons podcast recently.
He was describing how under Trump it was not just the wall which helped agents but all of the tech and surveillance included with the border funding.
Crossings at 400,000 a year under Trump and now over 3.4 million under Biden
He went on to say how the Biden admin is selling border wall materials onsite for scrap metal to get rid of it. Literally new steel beams and support structures that cost us hundreds of thousands being sent to recycling yards for 6 cents per pound just to get rid of it

The part where Mexico will pay for the wall still does not register in the heads of liberals.
He made them pay for the wall by forcing them to put 18,000 Mexican officers at the border on their dime which prevented hundreds of thousands from crossing. But but but the mainstream media won’t ever tell you that part.

If Trump actually had a plan for immigration and for the economy, I sure as hell would listen. If he took Congress to task and got the budgets less red, I would think hes one of our better leaders.

There's one way to easily identify all of the successful ventures of the Trump administration: look at which Trump policies were ended by Biden executive order in the first two weeks after Trump was fraudulently robbed of office.
The border wall construction and preservation was one of those things, and it was among the very first.

It would have been much more successful if the Dems in Congress had agreed to funding. He had to circumvent money.

Yes but those 400,000 were vetted and in the process of becoming legal!! Unlike the millions now that are not vetted. That’s the difference.

The current push is aided by our own government.
When government isnt importing them, the best way to end illegal immigration from the border is to help improve the lives of the average citizen there.
Put low level mfg in Mexico instead of SE Asia.

You act like Trump didn't have the best economy and immigration policies we've seen in decades. It was only 4 years ago. How can you not remember something that was 4 years ago?
