People use the word sodomy, say the Bible says nothing wrong about it, and COMPLETELY ignore the fact that our word for sodomy comes from Sodom and Gamorrah, and they conveniently ignore what God did to Sodom and Gamorrah FOR THE SIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY. He literally glassed the places. I don’t know how more clear he could have been on the subject of homosexuality. That’s pretty plain.

Rumble vid link from Now You See TV, David Carrico- The Midnight Ride, regarding Sodom. Lotta info Biblical and extra-Biblical. Is over an hour, but I find this type info interesting. In short, fallen angels mated with humans, corrupted the earth, and were punished with the flood. Post flood, humans in sodom were wanting to mate with angels and were punished with burning sulfur. So seems the mixing of angels and humans is the issue (strange flesh-Jude). Does not give an ok for homosexuality, which is still a sin as listed in leviticus.
Sidenote: the sethian gnostic ritual with aborted fetuses is disgusting and makes me wonder about the absolute demand for abortions today.

I do believe she is right about Jesus never speaking out against homosexuality, though.
Jesus made mention of Sodom and Gomorrah and the sin that took place in that city and many cities in the area.
God hates sin.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
homosexuality is sin. adultery is sin.
we have a savior who died for mankind. salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.
he has provided a path for salvation for all of mankind.

All good.
Basically, though, a lot of the OT really needs context. A lot of the stuff regarding food, clothing, etc., was specific to the Israelites for a specific time for a specific reason. Those times are past, so much of that no longer applies.
When both OT and NT agree on something, then there really isn't wiggle room.
I would love to find an out for my sins, but that is a waste of time. There is a remedy for sin: humble yourself, admit your sin, ask forgiveness, and do your best not to sin again (impossible, but making the sincere effort counts for something).
In the end, we are saved by God's grace, but if we don't even admit that our sins are in fact sins, then we are in essence saying we know better than God.

Did the ancient Hebrews have gay marriage?
Was sex outside of marriage forbidden?
There’s your answer.
And these people accuse Christians of being literal minded.

I don't know how many times these people have to be remi ded what Jesus told the woman at the well...
"Go, and SIN NO MORE"

They used to argue that it did not mention homosexual as a word. They keep inching their way along the Long Green Mile.

The mouth is not a sex organ. Are blowjobs wrong? Because if they are, I don’t want to be right.

I love these threads. They really show the difference between those who are disappointed, and those who understand why.

So, it’s less of a sex organ issue and more of a gender/sex issue?

I had left tell me that soddam and Gomorrah were fireballed but because of homosexuality but because of the residents were not hospitable . Which was required at the time.
It wasn't that they refused to invite them in for supper. They tried to beat down the door and rape the angels in the street. Seems like maybe someone's trying to read into the context.

Where is it defined as being okay when you piihb as a married couple or she gives you a blow?
The Bible describes homosexual sex as "not convenient" in Romans, which is a polite, euphemistic way of saying disgusting and unnatural. Although there's not a lot of context to clarify whether it's the act or the relations, one can reasonably assume the act itself. So to answer your question, it's never defined as ok to PIIHB.
The Bible does say, "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled." (Hebrews 13:4) Again, not a lot of clarifying context.

Alternatively, the swamp in Washington DC and the upcoming invasion and enslavement. Wild animals attacking people. Women rulers. There's all sorts of judgments in the Bible we are enjoying right now without acknowledging the root cause.
We want to pretend we are above it all and not included. God expects the men of a society to execute righteous judgment and call wickedness wicked. In a Republic, we literally vote for the godless and put them in power. We are culpable.

Not only this, they weren’t even interested in Lot’s virgin daughters, but instead wanted sex with men!

They were just rude people. So God blew them up.

Therefore, God handed them over to degrading passions. Their females exchanged natural relations for unnatural, 27 and the males likewise gave up natural relations with females and burned with lust for one another. Males did shameful things with males and thus received in their own persons the due penalty for their perversity.
This text is about as plain as possible about the topic of homosexuality and should end all debate on the matter except for those who have a reprobate mind.

Not so fast.
Mathew 15:19-20 - For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.
Jesus would not have needed to define sexual immorality because it was already defined in the Torah. Everyone at the time would have known exactly what it was, just like everyone else did until a few decades ago.
