So in other words, like I said earlier, abusive litigation / judicial harassment

This one actually says “lying about an election is illegal.”
It also says “Trump made numerous false statements about the election to the media.”

Just finished reading the indictment and went and reread the statutes. Smith is way out on this one. He is basically saying that a politican cannot lie.
Next he is saying that you cannot have alternate electors on standby....guess the folks in Hawaii were in jail for that one in 1960.
Trump is allowed to be wrong. He's allowed to say he won. He's allowed to believe he was the victim of fraud. He's allowed to pursue his theory and he's allowed to have attorneys either facilitate him and give honest opinion...even if it is wrong or tell him he's full of shite. Does not matter none of this is illegal
Even Trump's actions during the riot do not rise anywhere to illegal. Indifferent, crass....even shitty. But not necessarily illegal
This is Jack Smith being a creative prosecutor.......
You do not want creative prosecutors.

Creative prosecutors tend to end up dancing from a ways off the ground.

This indictment purports to criminalize the following behavior:
1- expressing beliefs and opinions;
2- petitioning the government for redress;
3- seeking and receiving legal advice;
4-asking the government to show its work;
5-thoughts and beliefs that the government finds unacceptable
This is terrifying beyond measure.
I’m still livid at Justice Roberta for abdicating the SCOTUS responsibility to determine suits btwn the states. This could have, and should have, been resolved by Texas v. Pennsylvania.
Look at what Roberts hath wrought.
The only upside - is that Jack Smith will be required to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt that Biden actually won the election and all those swing state votes and Ruby Freemans were real and true.
Otherwise - Roberts failing to adjudicate a matter the SCOTUS was duty bound to consider, and had no discretion to avoid, literally destroyed the republic and the Justice system itself. Congratulations on avoiding a bunch of people with rainbow colored hair having a temper tantrum, John. At least we didn’t have that.

call it what you will but the new york state AG and the new york county district attorney are both serious issues. more than feds
ag letitia james is after kicking him and his kids out of new york and $250 million.
the Manhattan one starts as stormy daniels but segued into 30 counts of false business reporting. the new york county district attorney was raised for this. dude might run for president some day. certainly senator.
if they get trump in the Manhattan stormy daniels case new york theres no pardon.

What about all the lying of the laptop from hell, that polls show, changed the election by about a 17 point swing, if voters were told about the truth on that laptop? That was lying to change an election, and 51 intelligence officers all backed it…

This right here is laughably stupid.
John Locke is spinning in his grave over how stupid the serfs have become after his brilliant treatise on natural law/rights which is the foundation of the Constitution ...
Which proves how laughably stupid Mike Pence sounded in his response to this indictment ...
fricking clown world.

1. Smith will not be required to prove that.
2. As the indictment lays out, Trump had many lawyers and people on his behalf at the state level scrutinizing the results and looking for any irregularities/fraud and it wasn’t there in any state to make a difference.
