Maybe, but how do you think all that would play on a national setting outside of NYC?

His online echo chamber is running wild right now. Would he even win a state in the south if he ran for national office?

What do you expect from a guy who wasn’t born here? Whose parents weren’t born here? His father despises this country despite getting a cushy tenured job at Columbia where he can espouse postcolonial bs like Hitler was inspired by Abraham Lincoln.

Fun fact: DSA voters are almost exclusively white, white collar, and college educated.

Punishing those they hate.

The Left’s entire political movement is built upon envy, resentment, “revenge”…all the very best qualities a soul can possess.

Super depressing Anti American hate filled class warfare Marxist diatribe. There was NOTHING American about that drivel.

From the snippet I watched that’s exactly what was to be expected. It’ll get worse as his policies further drag NYC down the drain.

Reddit and the lefties on this board are literally having a jizz fest over it.

Are they retarded enough to believe, for example, that millions of American kids go to sleep every night hungry?

It’s hard to believe people fall for that BS.

You mean all those porky and obese children subsisting on SNAP?

The problems he has with America are the problems people have with humanity.

America has never been socialist. It is capitalist and with that comes some uncomfortable realities for liberals.

One of their biggest struggles is Wealth disparity- yeah… it’s real. It’s an economic fact. Throwing money at it doesnt fix it. Minimum wages only widen it. Wealth redistribution through government seizure of assets will only cause money to gravitate away.

The only answer for these people is to move to a place where socialism is more prevalent. Cuba. Russia. Parts of China.

America, because it’s designed to grow wealth, is not for them.

Let me clue you in on a little something (although I don’t know why I’m wasting my time - it doesn’t have a snowball’s chance of taking).

Defaulting to the contrarian position on everything you see DOES NOT confer upon you status as some great critical thinker. All it does is let everyone know that you’re too lazy and/or stupid to formulate thoughts of your own. It’s every bit as bad as groupthink in its own way.

What's really scary is all the ignorant sheep who have been brainwashed to believe his garbage.

Obtw, the corrupt Clinton family endorsed this evil POS.

I understand that because you’re ignorant, reading comprehension probably isn’t your strong suit, but you conveniently glossed over this part of my post:

Maher is exhibit A of that. He's probably more representative of your average democratic voter nationwide than Zoran is.

Maher is representative of a large block of democrats, but polling shows that about 60% of democrat-leaning voters have a positive view of socialism. Maybe the most shocking polls are being emphasized, but the number is probably between 40% and 60%.

ETA: But I think you are correct in your assessment that the republicans better get a good platform together. I think Trump has given them the core - America First, a smaller foreign footprint, and zero illegal immigration. Where I disagree with you is that the republicans better have a candidate, like Ronald Reagan was, who can clearly explain the fraud that is socialism. Turn it into a joke and an insult the way Reagan destroyed the appellation “Liberal”.

Lastly, the republicans better find a way to close the gap between the working class and the top 1%. I am easily in the top 0.5%, so this is not coming from envy. It is a fact that this gap is beginning to cause instability. Mamdami is exhibit C.
