Thankfully Trump rescinds Canadian Steel Tariffs--Trudeau declares victory

I don't doubt Trudeau's ability to impose tariffs on his citizens that purchase US goods is at least on par with Trumps punishments of American importers.

Is he imposing these tariffs at the border? All of the Canucks I know live within an hours drive of the U.S. border and if they want something from here, they come and get it.

New NAFTA has never been ratified. You like most Trumpkins just took Trump's word months ago that he had a deal.
Now he has a deal and the tariffs that Ross and Navarro advocated for have proven too big a burden for Trump to get through Congress. With the deal on the line Trump has agreed to roll the tariffs back to get Congress to ratify it.
Kudos to Trump for recognizing the pain of the protectionist tariffs.

This is to open the door to the broader trade agreement, replacing the disaster called NAFTA. The tariffs were never meant to be long term. Pretty typical of you to post this. You’re a sick man
