Why, Dan? In your 17 years at the Capitol, THIS is what you are most passionate about? Education in shambles, property taxes ballooning, statewide water shortage, mass influx of illegal aliens but THC is your hill to die on.

She hasn't met many people.

To the OP. You live in Texas. A State. Ever heard of State’s Rights? You have many choices:
Move
Use drugs illegally
Work to change your State’s laws
Do nothing but bitch

property taxes ballooning
Well, that starts with your local assessment district, and all the assholes who keep voting in the legacy crew that says shite like, "your market value is not indicative of assessed value." That's a quote from FBCAD. And the tards in Fort Bend elected this assessor's replacement at her (Patsy Schultz') recommendation. After they'd watch her hit almost everyone with the state mandated max increase during the oil crash, COVID, etc.

That bill is expected to pass, so not entirely true.

I have a little here a there to take the edge since I don’t drink so this is frustrating to say the least.
Them acting like it’s to prevent younger kids from using is ultimately BS.
It’s the alcohol and Pharmaceutical lobbyists pushing us back 20 years because bottom line you know.
Fine fees and shutting down businesses that sell products above the agreed upon threshold was the answer.
Hate fuking all politicians

Same here, I don't drink and it's nice to have a little something to chill at home on a Friday or Saturday night and watch a movie. That's my business, not some dipshit politician in Austin. I hope Patrick gets busted for some sort of corruption charge.

Already thought this through that I’ll take a trip once every six months to an area of the country that sells it and put that shite in my checked luggage and the store whatever I have in the fridge to hold quality.
Think they hold potency for 1-2 years from what I understand if stored properly.
And fuk everyone here suggesting they live the perfect life and never take the edge off with anything.
Just do you, and don’t worry about me.

Yep, it's okay as long as they can get their booze and nicotine.

I don’t know. I was wrong. I do know Arkansas has the cheapest delta8 I’ve ever seen though. I think I got high for a dollar at hot springs hemp a couple years ago. Haven’t had a gummy since.

My first time experiencing the weed industry in Oklahoma was driving past what I thought was a large shopping center that was actually the largest marijuana dispensary I have ever seen.

Like driving up 69 from Texas to Missouri. All the dispensaries have names like “chief”, or “big daddy’s weed store”.

The state, like all others adopted and regulated the Trump farm bill that singles out delta9 THC as cannabis and leaves the rest as hemp.
Just for clarity, there's no shortage of federally legal D9 products that are entirely made of hemp THC.
Is Texas banning ALL THC, even the federally legal stuff? Just for the record I think it's really stupid to legalize hemp THC ( even D9), while keeping the MJ stuff illegal under the guise of public safety. That's like banning wine because it's from grapes while allowing whiskey because it comes from grains.

Way to go, Texas! Proving time and time again that you can be just as stupid as Louisiana.
Welp, marking TX off as a destination after I leave the shite hole that is Louisiana.

Arkansas>>>>Texas. Cartels don't want those profits cut into by legit products without the fentanyl.
