I don't really understand the concept of voting for Talarico if you're a guy. Even a "moderate" guy. He is an extremely creepy man child who says extremely creepy and unsettling things.
People who know him, tend to like him.
People who know Paxton, don’t tend to like him.
I think that’s the best way I would explain it. He’s definitely made some bizarre comments (to say the least) at points in time, but I’ve said before I think he tends to over empathize with people which is probably my main issue with the church he goes to and people who go to or preach at that type of church.
Sometimes they tend to avoid bringing up certain topics or verses because they’re so worried about offending people. I think it honestly comes with good intentions, but often leads to bad outcomes.

Ted Brown (me and my SO).
Also, as grandparents of a mixed-race child, Rosenthal over Racist Bo for RRC.
And probably the Libertarian candidate in the Comptroller's race (Huffines is literally a car salesman - his family owns several dealerships in Denton and Collin Counties - and we all know how sleazy those folks are).

Voting R here along with all of my friends and family.

I'll hold my nose and vote the straight R ticket. Most folks I've talked with are doing the same.

I know of two Talarico voters in TX and both are stay-at-home dads.

Is there a contingent of normal red blooded Texan men who know him and like him? Or are we talking about the type of men who'd be in the orbit of a guy who made the nativity about abortion or speaks passionately about trans children?

I think paxton was an excellent attorney General and i think he will be an excellent senator. He will stand up to thune. Very happy to vote for him.

People who have worked on education related matters with him for the most part (at least the few I know).
I talked to someone recently who went to a private donor thing that he spoke at and came away impressed. He said the thing that stuck with him the most was Talarico saying the first thing to do when talking to someone who is Republican (or voting a different way) is to hear them out first before responding. He said too many people on the left jump down the throats of people on the right without actually listening to what they’re saying. The handful of people I know that have gone to private donor things are normal people that I would consider friends and not some lefty lunatics.
Are there weird people who support him to? Absolutely.
I was volunteering at a food bank on the same day that some support group of his was there. Definitely some people that stood out, but also some completely normal people that you would never know were even liberal of they weren’t wearing the “love thy neighbor” Talarico shirt.

Fam of 4 all of voting age will vote the R ticket. Not thrilled with the top of the ticket esp Abbott, Patrick, Middleton and Paxton but the alternatives are worse.

He’s pretty much just running on affordability and expanding Medicare.
If you look at his solution to those it’s really just raising taxes.

If by “taste” you mean a supremely overrated British rock band and a national party that welcomes third world immigrants by the millions, DEI bs, pointless impeachment bluster, gays, and pandering to minorities then I take that as a compliment
Yes you support the party of adulterers, criminals, racists and pedophile protectors. No taste.

Yeah if you like pedophiles on the loose.

I don't know one person who would admit to voting for Talarico...except for the few houses at the end of the block with the never-ending Liberal yard signs inhabited by grey haired old women.

And you support the party of race grifters, mentally retarded Somalians, menopause addled white women, the gays, and effeminate men? I think I’ll stick with Trump. Embrace your people and go scream in the streets over the Epstein files lol

None of these things are illegal. You'll stick with Trump because you are weak minded and believe all the crap that comes out of his mouth.

The Epstein thing was a right wing conspiracy until the leftist decided they could use it against Trump, well after the righty influencers had their photo-op with the binders.
2 point...
1) Epstein hated trump and ran in Democrat circles. He was even texting a sitting congresswoman, plaskett, during a hearing on a question she should ask cohen
2) reid hoffman is a bonafide Epstein files star. I'd argue he is the bell of the ball. He's been to the island many, many times. Hoffman has donated over 10 million to Talfreako super pac, Texas rising.
Using democrat logic, voting Talfreako is like voting for hoffman which is the same as voting for Epstein.
Right?
