No jump cuts! He's doomed!

When did that constant cutting style take off on Youtube, and why do people prefer it?

Seems like a sign of the lack of focus/attention spans

People who don’t have real content are always baffled by people with content.

Stupid bitch gonna stupid bitch.

Someone established doesn’t need to rely on flashy editing when they have actual content bringing people in.

You mean he can string together 10 minutes of thoughts without editing? How ghastly!

Are y'all trying to tell me clickbait thumbnail graphics AREN'T necessary?

Can we turn this thread into an old man Festivus airing of grievances, because some channels that I like who have good content have the worst clickbait thumbnails and it turns me off to clicking videos often.

His production will probably get better. But, I do wonder who is chipping in for that. I think he already had the home studio, but I wonder how many Fox people helped him there and if they went with him for the Twitter deal. I think Rumble made big investments for Crowder and Greenwald.

Comments disabled to protect her fragile ego.

When's the last time she got 50M views?

Yeah liberals don’t live in the real world. They were sheltered on Twitter.

That’s also why trump winning sent them and people like SFP into a frenzy.

Long form presentations are difficult, youtubers use jump cuts so they can edit out all their mistakes.

Tucker is fabulously wealthy.

I'm sure he is going to finance it himself at first, and then see how the Twitter revenue system works.

The stuff I watch on youtube doesn't have jump cuts, over the top histrionics, background music, etc.

Of course I don't watch "influencers" either as they are this generation's Billy Mays.

And they are too lazy to do multiple takes and/or decent editing.

That twitter avi of Taylor Lorenz is really attractive. That kind of surprises me. I would have thought she would have blue hair by now.

Yeah, these young weirdos can't sit and listen to something without crap flying all around in front of their face.

The jump cuts started by early YT "stars" like Casey Neistat and the Paul Brothers, etc.

It's basically a way of keeping the incredibly shallow attention of 13yr olds, which were their core audience in the beginning.

Other YT people then copied that formula and saw their view counts go up. Mr. Beast basically said as much on his Rogan appearance where he stated how he got started from nothing. He basically just studied what style got views and copied that.

As for Tucker. He basically just needs to go the Crowder route for production quality and he'd be fine.
