Nor is unlawfully breaking a window putting anyone in imminent threat of serious bodily harm. No one was in imminent danger. No one could reasonably have been in fear of their life or another person’s life.

Was Babbitt attempting to trespass by entering that door, yes, should she have been arrested for it, probably, was lethal force warranted for it, not even remotely. Out of the dozens of cops at the Capitol, including the numerous others around Babbitt on either side of that door, none felt the need to shoot anybody. If the threat was that clear cut then several people would have been shot. Twisting yourself into pretzels to justify an unarmed nonviolent woman being shot for trespassing is pretty pathetic, especially when you go out of your way to demand justice for armed rapists being shot.

True story.
Mrs. Babbit is dead is because she refused to obey the lawful commands of police officers to leave the scene and still insisted committing a crime with more to come.
