Or send it to Minnesomalia daycares and L.A. hospices, right?
Isn't that where you would prefer to send the $?

a failed war
I'm not ready to condemn our engagement with Iran into the annals of history just yet, but it does seem like he's increasingly determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
To the best of my recollection, using military activity against an opponent whose government actions are driven by cruel and radical religious interpretations has ever emboldened the non-sect population enough to oust the zealots themselves. That happens only in fiction novels and movies.
We should be following where their drones are ultimately coming from and bombing the frick out of those installations then rinse and repeat until they capitulate. Taking out more IRGC heads would help as well.
Instead, he's pursuing for peace while they still want to fight. Give them what they want until they regret it.

Sorry, I should have gone easier on your sensibilities. Please forgive me

We should not focus on the number of federal workers.
That number has held steady since 1980. Its the NGOs that have exploded and needs to be the focus.

Good start. Now finish the job at the Dept. of Education. There's another 2200 payroll leaks.
Not gonna happen. Donald and the Republicans love wielding the power of the DoE just as much as Democrats.

Good start. Now codify the cuts and get that number up to 50%
We have to rely on Congress to accomplish that.
Expecting Congress to actually help We the People is erroneous in nature.

Why lie, man? Laying fetal for an extended period of time does you no good.

First, did the 300k jobs have a salary each of $112k? Even if not, a reduction in redundant or useless bureaucratic jobs is a good thing, no matter the amount of money that it actually saves. It’s not the incredibly small percentage that it represents that bothers me. It’s the fact that every single CR or spending measure passed will eat that amount up and more. We have a deficit so large that it basically props up our economy, so making drastic cuts hurts the economy. No politician can get re-elected that way, so there is no will or conviction to reduce spending. It’s a cycle of insanity paid for by sucking as much from the citizenry as possible. So yeah, the celebratory applause is short-lived.

Failed? We ended their nuclear program, killed 100s of their evil leadership and ended their terror funding. I'd say that's very successful.
