Branden Tatum has been cited in the Uvalde threads here as an authority in support of LEO's response in Uvalde. He has been very aggressive toward anyone who dares disagree with him. A theme of his videos has been "you don't have experience, I know the truth. I have inside information, you're an idiot if you disagree...".

Any rumor that was reported that seemed to show the LEO response in a good light, he would not hesitate to quickly post a video emphasizing how right he is and how much of an idiot you are for disagreeing.

Since the hearsing yesterday, he hasn't said a thing about Uvalde. Why is it so hard for some people to just say "I tried to give them the benefit of doubt, but they fricked up, I fricked up, let's see what we can learn from this."

Does anyone think we will ever see anything like that from Tatum?

Everybody involving the Uvalde situation freaked up and Tatum needs to call them out on it

This country has a problem with admitting they were wrong. Politicians are 100% the worst at admitting they were wrong and reversing course.

Admitting you're wrong is seen incorrectly as a sign of weakness when in reality admitting you're wrong shows you're willing to take corrective action. It's the reason DA's NEVER back down even when they know the suspect is innocent, it's the reason Biden won't reverse action on the thousands of wrong decisions he has mad in his first 18 months in office and it drags the society into the ground because sheep can't stand back and assess a situation without bias.

One thing I’ve learned about this board is if you’re wrong, you’ll get mocked and scorned… if you ADMIT that you were wrong and humble yourself, you’ll get crucified and dismembered.

People here have no dignity or compassion.

Is this the guy Salem put in Larry Elders slot? If so, IDC what he thinks cause the guy sounds like an idiot and has horrible English.

This is one of the OGs of woke moves, once a black person is put into a position it can only be replaced by another black person.

And before the race baiters come out, I would listen to Elder daily. Though, I did hate the way he would tease stories, and wouldn't get to them until over an hour later. Other than that it was good stuff.

I concede your point, although it is not just this board that is guilty. The entire country flaunts lack of dignity as a virtue, and uses virtue signaling as a substitute for actual compassion and empathy.

I never seen this troll, but we get lots of them.

Common tactic.

I was surprised by the responses from some of the board leftist in the Uvalde thread.

Gives me a little hope that they might be real people with a shot at revival.

That was posted before the hearings, and he continues his defense of the response in it. Kind of ironic that at about the same time he posted that, the response was being described as an abject failure to the Texas Senate.

Tatum lost all credibility with his defense of the Uvalde cowards in my view. He defends cops no matter what, most of the time he’s right, but if he really loves the profession like he says then he has to call a spade a spade. There’s nothing wrong with admitting that he was wrong and saying that these guys were fricked up, cowards, incompetent etc. I’d respect Tatum a lot more if he’d back track but he won’t since he hasn’t by now

It's an internet message board for discussing politics. Does it really matter to you whether you're called a retard or a genius? In case I forgot to mention this - IT'S AN INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD. Every single thing that happens here is rooted in ... TYPING.

He's actually been sharing daily or twice/day videos on IG. He does have his biases, but so does everyone else. A little harsh maybe, but I think he's trying to make the point that people are jumping to conclusions too fast.

This story will unfold more and more as evidence is released. We'll see what's revealed. Right now it looks like some major errors made by the police chief that day.

Yep. As much as I agree with much of what he has to say, his presentation has always annoyed me. Almost a weird feigned arrogance hiding the unseemly real arrogance underneath.

I'm thinking he as a 21st century version of a conservative Jesse Jackson, using race for profit and prestige. For nearly 2 mil subscribers he doesn't get that many views. I'm guessing his real income streams would tell the tale, and that income will not allow him to be honest.

I predict he will either never talk Uvalde again, or will continue at rock bottom and start digging.

I don't use IG. Has he had a response today about yesterday's hearings, claiming perhaps they also have jumped to conclusions?

I watched enough...

LOL. He chose option B, hitting rock bottom and started digging.

You really have to wonder what his real revenue streams are that he holds on to such a tenuous rope.

I said it in another thread and I’ll say it again. We have a lot of people who think that because they put on a uniform they are heroes by default. That means you can’t question them and they are above reproach.

I was real disappointed when Salem and Larry didn't get a contract together. I like Larry Elders and a needed voice.
Tatum is good on youtube giving opinions on police activities and how they handled situations. I don't know if he is good enough to care a 3 hr show.

I can understand him not wanting to jump to conclusions with Uvalde and always wanting to defend the police first until more info is allowed out. Now that the info is out, he needs to go through it all with his audience and call out what needs to be called out.
