This is what makes me curious. Why not ignore it if you’re Desantis? If someone asks, just say that you’re troubled by the misogyny, but that citizenship is a Federal issue, and States are constitutionally required to respect that.

Can this allegation be substantiated: “brought to the United States with the help of Trump”?
It’s odd to me that these Tate brothers are getting such a strong response on this board.
It’s a story, but not a mega story. I don’t like Tate. I’m not familiar with his brother and I don’t watch his content. It I’ve seen him interviewed. He’s not unlike many Marxists on the other side who use weasel words in employing Motte and Bailey arguments. He’s manipulative by using half truths and either overly narrow, or overly broad definitions.
Having said that, I don’t know whether the charges are substantiated are not. Governments are pretty good at bringing bogus or trumped up charges for reputation smearing.
If he’s cleared to leave Romania, and there’s no legal grounds to prevent him from coming to the U.S. then the federal or state governments should not be able to prevent his travel because they don’t like his views.
Am I missing something here? On what grounds would DeSantis be able to keep him out of Florida?
