That's going to be what the Biden admin focuses on (whenever they decide to show up again): all American citizens got out alive. They'll gloss over the fact that they simply lucked out on that. The Taliban could have knocked the airport and murdered thousands of Americans before we had a chance to respond.
They're going to downplay the massive deaths that will be suffered by our Afghani allies, and the billions of dollars of US weapons that the Taliban will get a hold of.
All of this is assuming that the Taliban doesn't change their minds and start bombing the airport.

Former Afghan ambassador to the US is on MSNBC and said that Afghan troops on the front line stopped receiving support from Kabul, and were given orders “not to fight, to back off, and to hand over”

Where is our leadership at shouldn’t he be at the White House instead of vacationing at camp David. He should be in front of the nation talking about a plan to get the taliban to not slaughter thousands of people instead he is no where to be found.

Yep, they had over 200 bases that required aerial support for supplies and when the US cut aerial support and contractors. They caved. Folks didn't have food or water.
Afghani Gov't said it was political suicide if they cut bases and didn't provide them with a plan to support after the US told them they were leaving.
In addition, Afghani President was also changing commanders every so often. The one in office now was only in office for 6 months. Most of the military leadership had no background in the Military.

I don't give two shits he's at Camp David. The President is fully connected at all times, even on vacation. Which is why the criticisms of Trump at Mar A Lago were assinine.
My uncle was third in command of DHS a few years ago. He flew with a full communications team that made sure he was connected at all times. Biden knows what's going on, and has the entire time.
What pisses me off is the complete lack of communication from ANYONE in his administration over the past 48 hours.
That is nothing but willful indifference.

How can this administration live this down? Seriously, I don’t see the other option here. This is embarrassing. Just imagine if Trump was doing this. I remember when people flipped when he fled to the Panic Room when rioters were outside the White House last year. This is pretty much a million times worse than that. 10 years from now no one is going to remember Trump did that. This is on the other hand is now Biden’s legacy.
