I’ve been thinking of your son and praying for his safety, Mid Iowa. I think most of us here have been praying for him and his fellow troops.

They are a long way from their caves and Pakistani border. With northern alliance there’s no way to squeeze them and make it hurt on our exit?

Hey ya’all. I just want to say thank you to my Tiger brethren for the information and keeping this thread going. Today has been a damn rough day starting with the news about the blasts and knowing it was on the military side of the airport.
Then hearing military KIAs without branch only to then hear Marines and be relieved, then being pissed at myself for feeling relief knowing somewhat what other dads are going through tonight as CAOs knock on their doors to tell them the boy they raised into a fine man is coming home under a flag.
The community of TD is a sample of what makes tiger nation what it is. I am proud to be an alum of LSU but more proud to know who I share that title with - some of the finest human beings on the planet.
Again just thank you and please keep the information flowing.

Yeah, what Chad said, 100% of us would feel the same. But even realizing the emotion of being mad at yourself due in part to others pain shows the type of character you have. Hope you get some good news soon.

I thought about you earlier and said a prayer for your son's safe return. Didn’t want to ask if he was maybe one of the ones injured or killed, obviously, and I hate that anyone lost a loved one today.
