His spinners didn't expect that CNN would be interviewing a pissed off civilian organizer trying to get people out right before Biden stumbled into the speech. She was saying that the State Dept and Military have repeatedly blown off her and other groups' attempts to give them lists of people needing rescue. She said the ingating had already slowed before the attack. American citizens repeatedly turned away at entry points, moved to the back, and then beaten by the Taliban. Of buses that have waited now 3 or 4 days to enter the airport. American citizens.

In reality he can't do that because his Administration put the State Department in charge of this shitshow. Every other similar mission our country has undertaken the military ran point. Now? The military has been taking orders from the State Department.
