This tidbit was in a NYPost article:
Compare that to the crisis at our Southern border, and let it sink in how fricked up this situation is.

The embassy urged the families of US citizens in the troubled nation to file forms for immigrant visas “as soon as possible.”

But who can believe he said just a week ago that the Taliban was no threat to take over Afghanistan?

Watching BBC. For all its faults, it's so, so much better right now than the US networks.
Fox just had segments with commentators, none of whom have any expertise in Afghanistan, foreign policy, etc. I looked one up, she's a motivational speaker and PR consultant. I'm sure CNN is talking about the perils of COVID in Kabul.
BBC showing latest video clips, interviews on Skype with Kabul residents, etc.
American media is complete dogshit.
ETA: Interviewing an Afghani lecturer at American University talking about staying and hoping the Taliban will act reasonably toward academics who stay behind. Why can't our news orgs do this? It's more topical and far more interesting than some idiot talking head.

Joe Biden and every single one of his voters should be tried, charged, and executed.

We have already lost the Southern border under Biden.

Kabul is effectively under Taliban control. Government fled., building occupied. U.S. is using the airport to evacuate the embassy & remaining American citizens. There is no use pretending it is anything but Taliban controlled. Status of Parwan is unclear. Panjshir is an island.

It's sad when foreign press services more accurately report the news than our propaganda machines we call the press here.

Al Jazeera Arabic is airing a live video of what it says is Taliban fighters inside the presidential palace in Kabul.

Anybody have any live feed links or links to some good coverage? I don't wanna watch Chris Walrus and Juan Williams on Fox.
