But China has been in parts of Africa for awhile right? Didn't the US try to go into Africa (for its oil) and whatever countries they were going in, they said they would provide their people with jobs, etc but that they wanted those countries to change.. I guess to become more Americanized and they saw it as the US trying to change them then China came along and said "Yall don't have to change anything, we will just come in and talk the oil".. They brought in most of their people, with the exception of some hiring of the locals, but they pretty much went in and did things their way and because China didn't ask them to make some changes it was a win-win?
