A year ago today the world became an emptier place. Rush was so important in so many ways, and he can never be replaced. On this anniversary of his death the official Rush Limbaugh Show created this fantastic tribute to his life and his life's work.
God bless you, Rush!

I sure do miss Rush. I always wonder what he would have said about certain current topics

Trump had the balls to recognize him and give him his due. What other person would have done that. Bush and the rest of them would have never touched that at the State of the union, Rinos always worry about perception of tomorrow at the expense of doing right today.

Flawless execution. Zero Mistakes.
RIP big guy. You are missed.

A key to Rush's success was that he realized the worst part of talk radio is the callers. They are not professional and are usually boring. Larry King had to do it because Larry was boring as hell, too.
Sean Hannity never learned it and had horrible callers.
Especially women who went on air to fill the female quota.
Hannity: 'Here's Michelle from Kansas City.'
Michelle: 'Sean, I just wanta say that, well, ya know, it's just so.....so, terrible what's going on out there. Ya know?'
Hannity: 'Well said, Michelle. I hear ya.'

I suspect at least 75% of the shite that's been done would not be if he was still around.

I miss Rush every single day at 11:06 Central.

This morning on War Room Bannon seemed pretty emotional talking about Rush, called him the most influential conservative of the last century.

Didn’t realize it’s been a year already. Seems more recent than that

Kathryn Limbaugh is scheduled to be on Clay and Buck’s show today.

My Dad introduced Rush to me when I was 15. I listened and watched for 28 years. The first two political books I read were Rush’s. I miss him greatly. Hopefully Clay and Buck can do his legacy justice today.

I put the tribute on TV this evening as somewhat of an experiment. Pleased to report that our two teenage sons voluntarily chose to stay and watch.
Hard to not tear up when Our President announces his Medal of Freedom and Our Beautiful First Lady puts it around his neck.
Then, for fun and nostalgia, found some old clips of Rush mocking Mr. New Castrati, Obama, Rachel Jeantel (from Trayvon fame), etc.
One of a Kind. A Legend. An American Giant.

I miss him every day. Some days are worse. After a busy news weekend, NOTHING on TV, radio, or internet was more informative, witty and interesting than the ~17 minute opening monologue of Hour One of Monday's Rush Limbaugh Show. Period.
