I think this thread was debating the candidate’s claim he’s a Christian. He’s certainly not a traditional, conservative, orthodox one. It’s questionable if he acknowledges or believes the core elements of Christianity including its most significant claim, the physical bodily resurrection of Jesus.
Putting a “Christian” suit on a super progressive liberal socialist doesn’t make him a Christian. He is a blasphemous heretic in my opinion and culpable in furthering a climate of animosity towards Christians who don’t share his twisted beliefs.
Your comment I responded to echoed a very old hostility to religion in general and Christianity in particular that has resulted in the persecution and killing of Christians over many years and in many countries. I assume your list was to show that Christians killed and persecuted people too.
I don’t quibble much with your long list of crimes committed by “Christians” claiming to be acting in Jesus’s name but if you total up deaths over the years attributed to socialist and communist countries I believe you will find your list will be a small drop in an ocean of blood and horror.

Jesus was the first socialist. Why can't Talarico be Christian again?
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:21-25): Jesus tells a wealthy man to sell everything and give to the poor, then says it's easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than for a rich person to enter God's kingdom.
His mission statement (Luke 4:18-19): He announces he came to bring good news to the poor and freedom to the oppressed, and proclaims "the year of the Lord's favor," which many read as a reference to the Jubilee, when debts were canceled and land returned.
Blessings and woes (Luke 6:20-25): "Blessed are you who are poor" is paired with "woe to you who are rich," framing wealth and poverty in economic, not just spiritual, terms.
The least of these (Matthew 25:31-46): People are judged by whether they fed the hungry, clothed the naked, and cared for the sick and imprisoned.
Laborers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16): Workers hired late in the day get the same wage as those who worked all day, which some read as pay based on need rather than output.
The rich fool (Luke 12:15-21): A man who hoards his surplus harvest is called a fool.

Jesus wasn't a "socialist" at all, but He did teach charity, love for one another, and voluntarily sharing your private property (that we are to work hard to cultivate and steward) with your brothers and sisters in need.
Christianity actually teaches principles closer to charitable capitalism than socialism or communism. It's more of a free economy under God's law, tempered by generous, voluntary mercy.
ETA: most of your citations are actually not teaching what you are claiming they are.

You don't have an understanding of scripture.
The Jews were in Jerusalem to celebrate Shavuot. Shavuot is a very short festival, but one where Jews are expected to go to Jerusalem to celebrate. So the Jews show up and by this time many had heard of Jesus and there were somewhere between 500 and 1000 people who actually witnessed the resurrected Jesus.
So the people who had traveled from a distance were not prepared to stay for a great length of time. But they wanted to stay because of what was happening. With so many witnesses to Jesus there was a great amount of teaching and preaching and most people were staying to learn. You can see God's plan to spread his Gospel, because the people hearing his word weren't Christains they were Jews and others who were there in Jerusalem.
The people, who came for a short stay, had nothing to eat and no where to stay, so what you are calling socialism was actually enabling the people to hear the Gospel so when they did return home they would take God's message. So you are twisting God's word to suit your own purpose.
Your explanation to all the scripture you quoted distorts God's word.

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice.
