Right. There is no universe where he would be preferable to Paxton as a senate vote for any Texan with even the slightest modicum of Republican sensibility. The fact that any such individual should or would buy into any notion otherwise is basically insane.

How much most democrats change their mind on things after the primary shows how far off they are from the average person . A lot of them completely change for the general election . It would be nice to see a political PAC run ads with all of Talarico’s far left opinions from the past with the dates . This guy seems to have been a far leftists for a long time till he made the general election. They could even run the ads like the supposed him so the average person doesn’t see him as being attached .

Texas has been a solid red state for years, and yet they allowed all this to happen on their watch.
