OK, I don't believe this. 90 tons is 180,000 pounds. Jet fuel weighs 6.7 pounds a gallon. So, 8,800 weighs about 59,000 pounds.
How do you get more pounds of emissions from one-third of the amount of pounds of fuel?

For those keeping track at home. Just in jet fuel alone, that's a $60,000-80,000 round trip. Throw in salaries, per diem, and maintenance and you're looking at a $100,000 before you get to the lease or note and storage costs.

I care. Political leaders are telling me to start figuring out how to my live without basic conveniences like gas stoves, heat, and ICE powered cars and trucks because the planet is going to melt. They are telling me that everything I consume will cost more as a result. These same people that have been predicting calamity for 40 years and have been wrong over and over again. These same people shamelessly belch out more carbon in a single trip than I will in a lifetime, and purchase mansions just steps from the ocean.

I’m calling bullshite. A Gulfstream G800 has a capacity of just under 50,000lbs giving it a range of approx 8,000nm. Tokyo to Kansas City is approx 6,200nm. JetA weighs between 6.75-7.02lbs/gal. She’s burning between 550-600gals MAX one way.
I’m pretty sure she flys a Dassault Falcon 900SLX which has a burn rate less than the G800.
