Actually who are we kidding? No matter who the Speaker is, they will do as they are establishment told.

I agree, Haley is more of an opportunist than Bolton. But when there is equal pressure from both the populous side and the GOPe swamp side Haley is your typical GOPe candidate that will spew populous rhetoric but vote and make tangible moves for the GOPe.

For example, sometimes the GOPe and the populous conservatives will agree...like tax policy. But other times they will vehemently disagree...like immigration, foreign, and trade policies and Niki will side with the GOPe on these issues of disagreement.

Y'all certainly are talking a lot of shite about the most likely GOP presidential nominee of 2024. She's not a nominee the Democrats would be happy to face either.

In 2024 I'm hoping for the first Hispanic president. President Lion Ted Cruz.

I disagree. Doug Collins has been a prototypical congressional representative and would make a great senator for the state of Georgia. And it wasn't Doug Collins that may have given Trump coronavirus. It was Matt Schlapp who is now self quarantined but doing fine.

Absolutely zero difference in how Collins and Loeffler would vote on key issues.

Loeffler is like Trump in a lot of ways.... a rich outsider who can self fund her own campaign.

And word is Trump likes Loeffler that is why he tried to give Collins the DNI post.

Both Loeffler and Collins have associated with Stacey Abrams. So this is not a big deal.

Difference between the two is that Collins is an engaging speaker and personality. Loeffler will put you to sleep when she speaks.

Just the facts as a resident of Georgia sees them.

What would make Collins a great Senator other than slavish devotion to Trump and throwing a pity party because he wasn't picked (it's because he's widely unliked).

This would be a good comparison if Trump was a trophy husband and Melania funded his campaign. But that’s not the case so it’s a really stupid comparison.

Loeffler will give McConnell controversial votes when he needs them and McConnell will do senate parliamentary rules to protect her. An example will be to vote for cloture on a bill but then she will vote against the bill. This is a typical move by many GOPe candidates to get a measure passed against conservative Georgian's ideals and then campaign that she voted against the bill when in fact it was her parliamentary moves that helped get the bill passed.

Collins won't play those games.

It's apparent the Swamp dwellers don't like Collins.....he's too much of a Trump supporter and he's not totally bought in on Globalism.

He for lower taxes...push with Loeffler.

He is tough on immigration....Loeffler is duplicitous.

He is Trumpian on trade...Loeffler wants the definition of free trade implemented where American wealth is exfiltrated from the U.S. into multinational corporations via China.

He is for conservative judges...push with Loeffler.

He won't be Mitch's puppet...Loeffler will.

Exactly.

But I have always wondered at what point does the establishment take control of a candidate? Do they fly them on a private jet to their pow wows on an island off Fla? Do they give them Chairmen position promises? Do they give them a slush fund acct on their first day with a huge staff and two laptops, with a gold lettering of their name on the door?

Everyone has a price.

Loeffler actually has experience running companies like Trump. Melania doesn't.

Trump inherited his real estate business from his father but has started others. Loeffler married into some of hers but has started others.

So no, it is not a "stupid" comparison.

I said Loeffler can "self fund" like Trump...that is true.

I said Loeffler is an "outsider" like Trump...meaning not a career politician. Again that is true.
