You are right. I've even seen Cruz dabble in the establishment lane, however rare.

He for lower taxes...push with Loeffler.
He is tough on immigration....Loeffler is duplicitous.
He is Trumpian on trade...Loeffler wants the definition of free trade implemented where American wealth is exfiltrated from the U.S. into multinational corporations via China.
He is for conservative judges...push with Loeffler.
He won't be Mitch's puppet...Loeffler will.
So the advantages are:
1) You don't trust Loeffler while you trust Collins (even though you don't live in Georgia and have no real experience with Doug)
2) Doug will take whatever approach to trade that Trump is taking on a given day; and
3) Loeffler will be a puppet of Mitch while Doug is a puppet only of Trump
Correct?

Loeffler married into some of hers but has started others.
All of her accomplishments in business came after marrying the CEO and I think all of the businesses she “started” were under his corporate umbrella.
I don’t have anything against her or Collins, but she’s a trophy wife who owes her “career” and her senate seat to her husband’s accomplishments, not hers.

Doug Collins is a known commodity, the only thing we know about Kelly is what her commercials tell you. None of you know anything about her but you're more than willing to believe the commercials?
quote:
Loeffler came to the Senate this month looking over her shoulder at Collins, an ambitious fellow who is a lawyer, preacher, soldier and loud talker from up Gainesville way, where a political machine ran things for nearly a decade. Collins kept hinting that he might run, which in politicalspeak means, “Damn right I’m running, Bubba!”
Loeffler figured she’d scare off Collins with an initial $2.6 million salvo of ads, introducing her bonafides to GOP voters — mainly that she’s against impeachment and for killing that Iranian terrorist fellow. To say she looks wooden is an understatement. The ad comes across like a hostage video, with Loeffler’s captors leveling their guns at her off-camera.
quote:
Garrett, who is not involved in this race, continued: “The real opportunity is to get Kelly Loeffler to articulate conservative values in her own language, rather than have her be force-fed lines that are poll-tested.”
quote:
This week, right before it became apparent that Collins would jump in, Loeffler — who is hiring former Trump strategists because you can never be too Trumpie these days — strategically disowned a (former?) friend and fellow Republican, Sen. Mitt Romney. Back in the day (2012, which is like a century ago), Loeffler and her husband dished out $1.6 million to Romney when he ran unsuccessfully for president. They even visited each other’s homes.
Yep, just like Trump
One is not like the other

You gonna to support Trump if he puts her on the ticket instead of Pence???
Posted on 3/10/20 at 10:58 am to Walkthedawg
I'm not voting for Loeffler because I'm sure of her convictions and personality traits
I'm voting for her because Doug Collins is a douchebag
I'm voting for her because Doug Collins is a douchebag

I'm not voting for Collins because of who he chums up with in Georgia.
Welcome to the swamp

weren't there some poli posters that swore Nikki wasn't the swamp?
Posted on 3/10/20 at 3:26 pm to Walkthedawg
Makes sense. Her ads pandering to the "God, guns and Trump crowd " are obviously fake, but of course people are falling for it
Posted on 3/10/20 at 6:06 pm to Walkthedawg
Nikki is slick. I wonder if Trump would endorse her. Not if Eric or Junior ran...

What day of the week was that?

I agree with Gumbo and as a Georgian I’m voting for Collins.
You also missed taxes, immigration and judges.
And when I say judges I mean Supreme Court. Loeffler is literally another fricking Collins, Murk type and the GOP doesn’t need that shite as 4 seats will most likely be vacant within the next 10 yrs.
