Snark aside the way white liberals talk down toward black people and treat them as perpetual victims who need saving strikes me as incredibly condescending and racist. "We're going to give blacks the right to vote"? Who the frick are you? They really think they're the heroes here to save black people.
ETA: a satire account got me. It sounds so much like something Democrats would do.
