Yeah yeah, we heard you before, you had a nice job before you were too stupid to get vaccinated and then you got fired.
Now make sure you include the French fries with my order, you forgot them last time.

Philly would probably be fine with that. Kyrie is nuts but he will go out there and play winning basketball.
Brooklyn? Putting Simmons, Durant, and Harden out there with just one basketball is fricking stupid.

Flip side to that is that there are a low number of truckers right now in part because certain shipping companies made these guys buy their own trucks in questionable terms and handled things in a way to where these guys ended up going bust and being personally ruined over it.
Also a lot of those new trucks are breaking down with chip and sensor problems. The shortage of replacement parts is keeping them off the road.

i can see the military taking over these tasks. and guess who is in charge of the military...
People keep saying that the military is going to take over every industry, including health care and policing. The military doesn't have the personnel or the expertise to run these industries.

They will need to be vaccinated too. Looks like your fat arse is getting back there and making them yourself.

Also, there won't be any potatoes, oil or anything else if they fire the truck drivers. He won't even have gas to drive his car to the mickey D's.

If Truckers strike get ready to fight because there will be nothing in stores and people will start looting homes

There will be a lot of looting in inner cities and “gun free zones.”
There may be looting elsewhere but getting a bullet in the arse may make them more selective about where they loot if they survive.

Yep.
While my in-laws aren’t truckers, they do have multiple vehicles and ALL of them are out of commission right now due to a lack of parts.
Starter on a jeep, alternator on a minivan, more parts for a bus, etc. None of which is available in the short term.
As parts start getting scarcer and both car lots and rental lots get picked over, we’ll reach a point where people won’t be able to travel period. And a lot of these areas are not condusive to mass transit no matter what lefty idiots think.

If it happened next month, what would you haul? I don't know how it is where you live, but around here, produce farms are about done for the year. Also, if the truckers shut down, You will need to be stocked up on fuel, because there won't be any at the fuel stations.

The military is only like 2.1 million active duty. That’s every branch combined. There are 3.5 million truck drivers in the US alone. The military if you used every active duty is only 2/3 of the truck drivers. And that would require pulling all troops back home which means no US presence anywhere in the world. Talk about ensuing chaos

Would be interesting to see what the Teamsters think.
Also the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers?
Sidenote, I have a friend who was a trucker, he quit after 15 years, said a it was a fun job but the "paperwork " became too much. No he works for AT&T (yuck) in Tennessee.

What would they drive?
Going to just take trucks from the independent owner operators?
I don't think so.
