The Middle East dumpster fire started in 2003. Barack Obama did a reasonable job of containing things

Libya, Syria, lost ground in Iraq, Afghanistan. Nice containment job. He left things worse than he found them actually.

Trump tariffs serve Beijing’s goal of building closer ties with Latin America

So, why were they doing business with us in the first place if their goal was to work with Latin America?

Whether or not a very, very difficult meeting ever takes place one solid fact has emerged. Donald Trump is superior to every president who has occupied the white house since the end of the Korean War at tackling this very serious issue. Since he has gotten the North involved and agreeing to some sort of solution and agreeing to stop the tests pending an acceptable solution.

You and you ilk would love to see any sort of settlement fail and possibly hundreds of thousands of people die on the Korean Peninsula rather than see our president bring about peace and a stable, nuclear free zone.

That is a fundamental difference in conservatives who would have loved to have seen Obama bring about the same result. And the sickness that is anti-American, anti-peace, and anti-prosperity if a Republican brings it about. And unthinkable if Trump is that Republican.

To my shame and embarrassment I admit not voting for Donald Trump since I had no idea he would be a dynamite president. Just couldn't see it. I just sat it out. Y-O-U people need to get your stuff together and try to be better Americans and better people. And the bar on both is incredibly low @ this point.

I ain’t no fan of Trump but I missed this one.....I sincerely thought NK would hold the summit and then keep their nukes and be welcomed into the family of nations....there are countries just as bad in that family. I really thought that Trump not being a typical politician was exactly the thing NK was looking for to make advancements toward legitimacy. I ain’t got a clue what happened here.

I’d still bet that this meeting takes place before November of 2020. I think Trump is exactly the right person to bring it about because he is, if anything, unorthodox. And I stand by if he disarms NK he is more deserving of a Nobel prize than any recipient in history.......and will go down in history as a better foreign policy president than Nixon.

Yep. Polling was wrong. I was still far closer to predicting a Trump win than most, and I’m predicting re-election now.

The more I think about it, the more certain I am.

Korea will absolutely not denuclearize under Trump.

Bookmark. Keep it front of mind. And remember that Democrats will win the house.

Seriously?

Maybe they don't want to put all their eggs in one basket.

Trump isn't the only negotiator in the world
, the Chinese have been haggling in markets for 5,000 years. Having other sources of commodities gives them leverage in negotiating with the US. They can walk away from the deal - always important in negotiating.
