That assumes they have a stamp at the house.

Again, I agree that mail-in is a bad idea, but this is not the strongest argument.

To my thinking this is a frivolous law suit and should not be before the SC. This while they lay waste to actual cases involving the elections and the processes used by states that were not legitimate by state laws.

Stamps are extremely rare and hard to come across. Valid point.

Not an excuse to get ballot harvesting legalized, cause....

In statements to the media, the U.S Postal Service (USPS) explained that while residents in states where prepaid postage is not provided should buy their own stamps, USPS cannot reject votes without postage.

Do mail in votes not come with postage-paid return envelopes?

AZ has a policy already:

quote:

Voters in every county are eligible to sign up for the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL). Individuals on the list automatically receive their ballots by mail for every election they are eligible to vote in and have the convenience of voting within their own homes. Voting by mail enables voters to bypass standing in line on Election Day. Voting by mail can also alleviate transportation issues as voters can receive and return their ballots all by mail. If a voter wishes to turn in their ballot on Election Day, but prefers to bypass the lines, early ballots can be dropped off at any polling place within their county. Visit Service Arizona below and be sure to check-mark the box for PEVL in order to sign up. One-time early ballot requests can also be made prior to each election if a voter does not wish to sign up for PEVL.

This is so ridiculously stupid I am wondering if Roberts (therefore the majority of the SCOTUS) Will cite mail in voting as a good way to go. (Under the auspice of this disabled sob story) Therefore taking out the current notary required for absentee voting.

Are mail in ballots not postage prepaid? Or just the “voters” Eduardo contacts?

I cannot wrap my brain around the opposition to early, in-person voting.

I'm opposed to it, if the counting isn't done in the same day as the general electin.

Because the counting done early, often leads to Democrats adjusting the voting outcomes based on how far they are down in the polls. Just like in 2020. If you allow counting to stop, then startup again, you are allowing one side to rig an election. This happens in every 3rd world shithole, and happened in America...TWICE in less than 3 months.

guide-state-vote-by-mail-notarization

This is what the democrats (and the GOPe don't GAF) wants. No more notary for absentee ballots.

WAIT are these the only States requiring a notary for absentee?

NC is not on here and I know they did have it...Did they stop this?

bullshite. You just have your mail carrier pick it up from the doorstep.

this question is case specific. If these people could not get out to go and mail their ballot, they could also not go out and get a stamp. In this case, again, however it would appear that Arizona provides postage paid envelopes, negating that issue in this case.

Not in all states, but apparently they were postage paid in Arizona in 2016, negating that issue in this case.

This is very bad stuff. I dealt with local election prosecutions where "cultured" individuals would go door to door with ballots and sign people up. They'd straight up forge the ballots most of the time, but the smarter ones knew how to game it. They'd go to low turnout and poor neighborhoods and learn who the person voted for as they filled out ballots. They'd put the wrong ballots in a separate stack and throw them away when they were done. Theyd then turn in a few hundred ballots for their guy and win every time.

In my opinion, they should be counted starting first thing in the morning on the day of regular voting, with no results released until one minute after the polls close on the same day.

Didn't Dateline or somebody have a show showing ballot harvesting and the money behind it in Illan Omar's district?
