If you guys would totally ignore SFP and not respond to a single post of his, the attention seeking would go away..that's a fact! He brings nothing to a discussion that's worth your time.
You don’t have to like or agree with him, but this is just flat out false
This is the most measured, non-echo chamber attempt at a discussion on this board that I’ve seen since… well, his last thread.
If you can’t calmly (unemotionally) answer his questions without getting bitchy, then he probably has a pretty good point.

No. It's not his fault that the GOV did that to the USA. It's the world they created and now we want to reverse that.

If you tuned into Kudlow last night and watched his interview with Trump who for the most part was kept on point by Kudlow.
He spoke at length about his trade policy, oil and gas, the border, and inflation. He was excellent.
I didn’t watch the entire interview, but not one time did he call a fellow Republican names. He did get after Biden some, but Kudlow reigned him in.
He scores very well when he brings up economic issues and the breakdown of law and order at the border.

Are you making an accusation that he's a public defender or that he at some point defended an accused pedophile?
Weird, weird flex.

After the 2020 election, one singular topic has dominated the MAGA-sphere: election fraud.
Corruption has to be pretty close to #1. I know TRUMP talks about election fraud but seems like a lot of this board has focused on the judicial system and the collusion/corruption.

Principles are always more important than blindly following trends.
Dear Baby Jesus, that's vapid. And of course, it's an unbelievable moral conceit, to make the assertion that Trump voters are unprincipled. It's just sophistry and could be disproven by simply opening your ears, eyes and mind. Are they the MOST principled-that's an honest debate.
It's intellectually dishonest to ask why people are pro-Trump and then reflexively discard every reason given because it offends your sensibilities. I mean, I can't comprehend how somebody could be so hopeless as to vote for Biden, but I at least attach value to why they do it when they explain it to me. Oh Pimp ya know I believe we should slice and dice infants-I mean nonviable tissue mass, so I can't vote for Republicans, for instance.
You'd do well to exhibit just a smidgen of humility. Trump's movement is after all, the biggest counter-cultural political movement of our lives. You'd think a guy who fancies himself to be instinctually superior to the poor rubes on the PT would be interested in why people are going to line up to vote for him again. You'd think.

Ah, gotcha.
So its really not the fault of individual companies who buy stuff. Its really the governments fault. Then why are you wanting to charge the peasants for it?

quote:Dont forget the RINO senators McCain and Romney, the first of whom voted to keep Obamacare despite saying he’d vote to repeal Obamacare during his final reelection bid. Also: McCain helped to get the Steele dossier into the hands of the IC. Very duplicitous indeed.
I think he would have gotten a lot more accomplished had he not had people in his own administration backstabbing him, secretly leaking stuff, and not have people suing to block all of his EO's.
And don’t forget: Congress (Senate) voted against a $2~3 billion border wall while - two years later - have voted to spend an order of magnitude greater of our tax dollars on Ukraine! Meanwhile, the immigrants and fentanyl continue to flood in. Honk!

You are struggling today with comprehension.
What is so hard for you too follow? I stated that corps paying politicians to form policies that enrich them both is an issue.
It's not his fault that the bill gates and tech companies of the world paid off politicians that resulted in the limited options for computer parts.
You made his point.

So only trade with nations where the workers own the means of production? Who wants to tell him?
Nice twist but no…that’s not what I meant.
Companies with a free labor and business market were everything, including the accumulation of wealth via production and trade, isn’t owned by the state.

if his EOs were legit he wins those. nothing goes unnoticed and unchallenged.
most are wiped away now.
secretly leaking? what?
who stabbed him in the back during his reign?
what I remember.
lied about covid danger.
confessed to Washington post woodward.
failed to negotiate a repeal replace aca.
failed to negotiate Wall with Congress. this was due to campaign promise Mexico will pay. you start saying you dont have to pay, so no one in congress wants to buy in. ended up taking some defense money for a very small wall and maintenance. very bad negotiation.

Nobody here is talking about propping up a dying industry due to innovation.
What I’m talking about at least is should free trade concepts apply to trade with adversarial countries where the benefits of trade don’t flow to the population or private industry and instead are directed (at least in a large degree) to the state to be used against us.

This is a weird thing to me. One of the things Trump people like to brag about is low inflation. But… onshoring labor can only happen two ways: massive pay cuts for US workers , or massive price inflation to support the drastic increase in wages manufacturers will have to pay.
One massive thing you are not taking into consideration was China's reaction to Trump tariffs. They massively manipulated their currency to fight back. Look what happened to trade prices:
Here's the deal. All taxes are bad. If the feds implement an 80% income tax on everyone would that be good? No of course not. If they implemented an 80% tariff on all imports would that be good? No.
It's not about the type of tax in of itself. It about how they are implement based on the surrounding economic conditions.

Strip away whataboutism and bullshite in general, how come you never ask questions like this or any questions about Biden or any democrat leaders?
You claim you're not a progressive. I don't think you're being honest. Kind of like Hank used to do before he finally dropped the pretense
