Steve Bannon owns Bill Maher

I’ve always really liked Bannon and he just completely outwits and outclasses Maher on his own show. It’s great.

Maher is a pretend intellectual.
He’s smoke and mirrors.

Vindman is Von Stauffenberg according to Maher

Well I’ll say he at least went toe to toe with him. It’s hard to out argue a talk show host with the audience on their side.

True dat - Maher shut down any followup on valid points make by Bannon and turned to the willingly ignorant audience for sustained applause.

Actually a pretty decent exchange. Neither “owned” the other.
But, yes, Bannon did engage in a couple of talking-point soliloquies.

Thanks for that, AL; it was fun to see Maher get owned.
Bannon is maybe the smartest guy out there; but his unrestrained honesty is problematic in the current political scenario. Like when Bannon exposed China's long term strategy for World domination, and threw a wrench in the whole Trade Deal thing. That talk that Bannon had with some interviewer in an airplane hangar...was epic.
Maher wishing the Dems "had somebody as evil as you on their side" is classic Maher. High level stuff.

Bill’s main debate weapon is to over talk his guest and shift subjects before they can answer.
If you can keep on one point that’s his arse!

Maher actually suggested that Trump calling people names could incite violence.
Meanwhile, dems call Trump racist, traitor, and dictator as BLM, OWS, and Antifa loons riot in the streets.
Unreal.

Reminds me of a left wing Hannity with his poor interview skills.

Shut up Hank. While Maher was vomiting stale dem cable news talking points, Bannon was makimg the argument that any transformative, outsider president could fall victim to the same deep state subterfuge Trump is enduring now.

“A liberal audience isn’t going to understand what Crossfire Hurricane is.”
Well, they fricking should and it’s why I can’t stomach this guy’s show. It’s like my virulently anti Trump friend who claims to be a big 4th amendment guy, yet had no clue what the FISA court is.

Not foe Steve. He 1) is wicked smart and 2) doesn't accept their premise which resets the argument and people like Maher can't deal with that.

True, I could have said hard to be heard against a large crowd while cheering. But yes, he was not flustered, IMHO.

Amazing isnt it? A room full of so called liberals, completely uninterested in a politically motivated, police state plot to surveil and derail an outsider's presidential campaign. Remind me again who is that party of Putin?

I know right.
Perfect example right there on TV for all to see of the arrogance and condescension towards even their own.

You've got a wonder if every liberal in the world is completely f*cking brain dead. All Maher can talk about is all the "mean things" that Trump says about people. Has he listened to anything that's been said about Trump AND HIS ENTIRE FAMILY by the Democrats and their minions in the media? Hell just look at what the DNC operatives at Saturday Nightt Live do to Trump and his family every f*cking week. They (the entire Democrat and Media establishment) have been doing this since Trump came down the escalator. But Trump is the "melanie" who calls people names?

Maher’s smugness will be fun to watch when Trump completely cruises to an early night victory come November.

There are not many people that Bill Maher is afraid to intellectually spar with. Steve Bannon, I have seen them on the show before and Bill Maher knew he was out matched. Surprisingly, another guest Ben Schapiro was treated with light gloves as well.
Whether you like either of those guys are not, they are always prepared and bring their facts. Bill Maher prefers to pander with emotions than wrestle with the facts. Banning, Shapiro, & Coulter own his arse.
